Replying to the OP content, if I had the ability to work with an editor like this I would absolutely jump at the chance. I occasionally see a negative stigma about like "oh if you let someone else in and allow them to make changes/suggestions, it's taking away your creative freedom = bad", but I see it more along the lines of "if a professional wants to help me shape my idea into the best version it can be, awesome!"
Replying to how the title reads, if I were given the opportunity to work on a popular IP that I like a lot, heck yeah! I'd be willing to put my own stuff on hold to do that. However regardless of how popular an IP was, if I wasn't into it- no way. Drawing and comics is something I do for fun, so I wouldn't trade that off for this sort of thing (with exceptions, of course. Opportunity to work on a short term project for ultra popular IP #93029? Sure why not. But signing onto something long term? meh)
