Going back to the Friends question, I kinda think we control that and it's really up to the individual.
So I'd say LOTS of friends when you're young and building inclusion and self-esteem.
FEW, later on when you're older and friends stay connected through effort and the "needs" you have of your friends is greater.
Doing a lot of different things, you'll probably have more friends.
My father once told me you're lucky if you have two solid friends you can count on.
