I'm ready~! I didn't have much trouble; as with most of my stories, the plot is sort of developing organically so even though I didn't know where it was going to start with, I have an idea now XD.

My laptop literally broke down on me during this competition, I have managed to get 11 chapters out and am planning the rest for now till I get my laptop back from repairs! Goodluck everyone

I had a few bumps along the way, but managed the 10 chapters. And it was a lot more fun this time than the 1st contest, because I interacted with other creators and at the forums.

Weeeeeell, I am not going to make it. My Chapters 9 and 10 of Soulless Saint still will not upload due to some technical issue or another. Honestly, I am not upset. Winning was not my goal this time around. I am participating ton support both the Tapas community and the roleplaying game in which this story is set.

I will finish this story one way or another. After that, I am looking forward to getting back to Alien Fiction, my main series.

Speaking of Alien Fiction, I have an offer for participants in the July Writers Camp. I will compose a Mystery Science Theater 3000-style riff commentary based upon a chapter of your choice from your July Writers Camp book. My Alien Fiction characters will lampoon your story, criticize your writing style, and mercilessly poke fun at your characters. You may then do whatever you like with the resulting riff, post it in your book or on your blog, tell me to post it in Alien Fiction, or just burn it in effigy. It's too late to promote your book for the camp in this way, but you might catch an extra eyeball or two in the post-contest phase in which we all try to catch up on our reading. I did a similar the same which a chapter of Abby's Hope during the First Writers Camp.

Is it Her Blessed Curse? I found that by searching for your username on the main site. You can create links by simply typing out the full url of a series or chapter, and the forum software will do the rest. It should look like this:

Welcome to the Tapas forums! I personally feel that going in cold with no context makes for a funnier riff. Since you feel otherwise, I will read those earlier eight chapters first. You can get a hold of me rather quickly by sending me a private message here in the forums when you like.

That's really too bad you couldn't post the two chapters. Especially after all the work you put in. Really bad timing for a glitch like that to happen.

that sounds like such a shame...only 2 chapters. But what matter is that you preserved and managed to write enough. Maybe you can submit your story to the next Writers' Camp! I think it was mentioned somewhere in the forums that for future camps, old entries could be submitted

I feel that if you had the chapters written by the deadline and this was purely a technical issue, if you contact staff about maybe they can make an exception and still include your entry? After all technical issues is coming from the site and no fault of your own...

I appreciate the suggestions, but I am fine with this. I was not aiming for the prizes anyway, so whether Soulless Saint qualifies or not doesn't really matter to me. I accomplished the goals that I set out to accomplish, and I look forward to getting back to my main series soon.

I faced a burnout as I was trying to write 10 chapters in like three days xD If was awesome and fun to write those chapters but I'm still trying to recover from it lol. I already uploaded chapter 11 but now I need to get to work on Chapter 12. I'm also going back to the old chapters to edit them when I get feedback as well.
