Star Terk wars + Yuri on Ice. That sounds interesting. For fanfiction, what fandom do you write?
I have written a Disney fanfiction, which can be found on Wattpad and now I'm trying to write a Studio Ghibli fanfiction.
All projects I'm doing is WIP @_@
I currently have a handful of series I'm working on, plus a roleplay. I also have some stories I'm currently brainstorming as well.
It's going to be a long ride
Im doing well(?) I think. Im sort of preparing for NaNoWriMo and its my sixth time participating. Just trying to get my story inline so when I write, I know what I'll write. Unlike some stories cough cough freedom cough cough
I just started posting a story I'm working on! I haven't written this much in ages but the characters won't let me rest, lol. It's about a developing poly relationship between three friends who have a lot of other stuff going on in their lives. Representation across a variety of identities is really important to me, so there's a lot of that in there!
Always nice to see more sci-fi @alexandraperchanidou . I've been struggling with large personal writing projects and using Tapas to get smaller, more manageable stories written. It's the best I can do to stop myself from alienating myself from my own writing from self-imposed pressure.
OMG my book is trending! Sorry for just barging in, but I'm so excited! I'm so happy! I think this is the first time it's in trending! Woohoo!
@williamjbowles I'm doing NaNo, too! I'll open a NaNo thread on the forum, I wonder how many others from Tapas are participating this year Good luck with your story!EDIT: Nope, someone else has been faster! There's already a NaNo thread here: https://forums.tapas.io/t/nanowrimo-2017-megathread/20586 (How the heck did I miss that???)
HYPEHYPEHYPEAnyone else say they're doing NaNoWriMo every year and end up failing or is that just me? :'D
Congrats on thrending^^
Welp. I dont think trying is failing my dear. Its tough but I know you can do it!
Needless to say, I'm kinda disappointed in myself. Why? Because I haven't been writing that much lately...and I think I'm becoming way too overconfident with myself. I don't know...I have that feeling that everything will collapse on me in one fell swoop.Anyways...I haven't written anything new JUST yet (I got an idea from 10Cent, and after reading TATWD by John Green, there's more stuff in my head), and the threat of NaNoWriMo is still hovering around my head.Don't forget the quarterly exams starting next week. Good luck to all of your endeavors! May they succeed and bring you forward!-Helioxiv
Then again you need to be super confident if you want to make it in the entertainment biz. The path is so difficult that you need this kind of mental armor.
Thank you! <3

Reminds me of the joke about the man and the tractor tire.
I did it once, I did pull it off, but I had to take a week's vacay to make up for how busy I was between my day job and other things I was involved in at the time.
Even if you fall short, that's OK. Just so long as you really sweat at it.
and @williamjbowles Do you find NaNo hard? I decided to go and try it but it seems a lot to do in a month. My book Counting Shadows (it's now on Tapas) is about 55000 words and it took me over a year to write... But want to give it a try plus might have actually time to do so. I just postpone my other project...
It can be done and around a job too but you really can't do much else. I think I aimed for 1700 words a day.
I wrote it in pencil which was some extra work because I had to count the words by hand after each page. Don't recommend doing that.
I said I'd post a link when I started it. It's not much, but there's more in the pipe.
Yes, I figured out that's my activity for the month pretty much... Got a bit of head start and now at 2000 words. Also posting it on Tapas here: https://tapas.io/series/The-Perfect-Life
I think there will quite a few new books this month
Things are pretty good on my end. I started my first Tapas novel that I work on alongside my comic, which is a sports drama story about 1920s women's boxing. I love weirdly specific sports stories so I'm having a grand time. There's a lot of opportunities to explore social issues in a fun and unique way with a 1920s USA setting and it's a blast.I get a lot more time to write than I used to, but sadly less time to draw. That's just the nature of my new day job.
