It's not hard at all. As for a character page, you just type in "Characters/[webcomic name]" instead of "Webcomic/[webcomic name]".

I've got one for my comic that a couple of my friends put together! I've done a little bit of editing on it to add it to indexes and stuff but I feel kinda weird about trying to add more tropes to it myself lol.

I discovered that somebody had created a page for my comic there. Which is, like, awesome or what? It's even being updated!

What would be the point of posting there? It's just another site that won't do nothing for views.

What how do you even see where people are coming from? I suppose it might work, it just feels really weird if I make one for myself. Like saying please someone like this thing I have made. but I guess essentially that really is what we are all doing anyway after all. XD

If you're nervous about making a TVTropes page for your own story...don't worry, I don't think anyone checks who's the author of those pages anyway...lol

I have a fiction story on TVTropes, but either my WordPress analytics are semi-busted or I never get clicks from there. Actually, the best database I've found for getting referrals is TopWebFiction. I've also got my comic on TopWebComics, although I can't really tell how many clicks I get there because, again, my WordPress analytics are semi-busted. (I heard it's because it can't track people who use AdBlocker? Anyone know about this?)

I think I might just go do it. I've liked Tv Tropes for while, and often write whilst using the tropes by name, so it'd be easy. Caution to the wind and all that.
I've never heard of TobWebFiction or TopWebComics? What are those? I can't make heads or tails of the pages from the links.

TopWebFiction and TopWebComics are lists of web fiction and webcomics (respectively) where people vote on stories they like, and the top stories get on the top of the site list. I'm not the type of person who goes to these sites for story recs, but...they're out there.

I'd love to see more people using TVTropes for their own and their buddies' and all their other favorite independent artists' work. Get The Word Out

I make articles for my larger works all the time! I started writing an article for my webcomic today just for this forum topic! I was actually waiting until my comic got more episodes uploaded, but I think now should be okay.
