Your drawing / writing environment?

I'm talking about a place. Is it your room? Library? Where?

I get comfy working on my comic at truck stops. You know, they always have a food court with a coffee shop and a bunch of other restaurants and sometimes a souvenir shop. People coming and going. Rarely see regulars. And they're always truck drivers or contractors. It's just people coming and going. Just a temporary stop in the middle of their journey...

Gets me in a certain headspace.

I draw in the corner with a uncomfortable chair. I like to feel like I'm in a compressed space and I don't like to relax too much.
I put the drawing tablet on a stand to help with my back and I often put on TV and Movies in the background

I write on my school bus, which is very uncomfortably but its the most efficient time for me to write.
However, the real work is finished when I'm in bed at 11:30PM.

I don't draw typically, and I often do it random and spontaneously. I would find myself standing in my parents bedroom next to the charger because I found out my iPad is at 1% battery and I really want to draw.

I always start my drawing day at the kitchen table where I do 15 mannequin torso drawings
and some perspective warm up. Then I do one hour of one minute quick sketches in my
office room. That´s where I draw and write most of my stuff and where I make music.
I always doodle in the evening in the living room. I have drawing material and instruments
in every room

Usually leaning on a pillow on my bed with my iPad propped up against my legs (for drawing or writing), or in class typing away on my Chromebook.

On the couch or in bed with my laptop. I told my husband just yesterday, though, that when we buy a new house I'm gonna set up a proper office, with a proper computer and a Kamvas Pro 24 4k tablet

For me it's the living room at an old Victorian-style writing desk. I have wanted to do my comics at a coffee shop (free marketing since I'm a traditional artist) except I don't like coffee and I have a lot of home responsibilities.

Writing: My room. Sitting at a chair at my desk, with the fan on, drowning out outside noises. I need 0 distractions if I'm going to be productive while writing.

Storyboarding: Sometimes I'll go on the couch, can have some noise, but I still need mostly full concentration to translate my script to visuals.

Ink/paint/the rest: Anywhere pretty much. Still mostly my room or the couch, but I'll always have an audiobook/podcast/music playing. I've drawn at a cafe, my car, in waiting rooms. I need a little concentration for the inking phase, but after writing/storyboarding, the process is mostly mindless/I just need to do it.

Mine is in my room. I do everything at my desk on the computer. Sometimes I'll draw on paper and then scan it.

Mcdo workers aren't dressed like Akala in my comic... At least where I'm at. A quick Google search of mcdo uniforms vary by franchise.

Do incels/anyone actually eat inside McDonalds anymore? They're expensive now, and the dining areas are so small/colorless looking.

I hung around a few times in 2017-19. Their dollar menu/charging stations were great for a college student. Couldn't imagine hanging out there in the currently designed buildings.

They do. I literally saw them sit next to me talk obsessively over minecraft. And Chad was making out with his girl a couple tables across. This was during 3:30 to 4:00 pm

Then in the early morning (roughly 5 to 7 am) there's elderly folk praising Donald Trump and hoping for the rapture.

During midday weekends (11 am to 2pm), it's families with small children buying overpriced happy meal toys.

Any other time... I'm by myself working on AngHell Dela Blackpill in the corner sipping my coffee.

I have scouted every truck stop and McDonald's near my area... I know... lol

I haven't eaten at one in years. My kids are all picky eaters, and the one time I took them to McDonald's, every burger order was messed up. They're not interested in eating at restaurants that mess up their orders, so they've never asked to return. Plus, McDonald's doesn't advertise to kids or families anymore. We usually choose local spots instead of chains, anyway.

I have a desk in my room but sometimes I get cramped in it so I work at our kitchen table instead. More space and light.

Most of time i draw where ever i can.
The only must have is a decent comfy spot to draw but then i'm good to go!
i can not stay in a room for to long, so i'll take a walk so now and then.
