Okay I know this is gonna sound weird, but when I say commercial story, I literally mean story that was in an advertisement.
Still sound weird? Well, when given a bit more time, a lot of advertisement companies will turn their commercials into more of small short films to promote their products. Storytelling does sell. You can see it in this John Lewis commercial.
I've really been wanting to do some more short form comic stories and I was told that looking at commercials like these were a good place to start. Just looking at some of them I already feel pretty inspired. Some of my favorite ones were the Japanese ones.
