Thanks a lot! ^^
Hm… i don't even know where to start… ahhahaha Joy is actually my interpretation of Sandman and he has a twin, who is the Bogeyman.
Joy is easy-going and if he lived in our dimension, he would be a camera whore and would take countless selfies through the day. He's kinda energetic and like to get his brother Bogeyman out of his nerves. But, how he don't see his brothers a lot and has a kingdom with no servants, he feels lonely most of the time and all he wants is someone to be with and have fun.

BTW, this is the Bogeyman (or how i like to call him, Pain):

I like to make fun of my own OCs laughing

And this is his younger version:

And they have a younger brother called DĂŠsirĂŠ:

Oh my, now I want to talk about all of them and about my others OCs laughing

My favourite oc?I think its......Neil Anderson from Jackal Soul.
He is pretty fun to draw tho.I always like his poofy hair and his doggy leg.He can be easily fooled and clumsy sometimes. He is also playful.Very active.Too bad he is like amnesia but more than that.He forgotten his whole self.So he thinks hes a kid.A 14 years old guy that thinks hes a 7 years old boy.

He sounds like he could make you feel better if you are having a rough day based on his upbeat character presentation.

I agree with what was said earlier about not really having a favorite, but going through phases of being 'stuck' on a particular character for awhile. Right now I can say that one of my current favorites is Avyya from my comic, Aetherwing. She's the super serious kick butt leader of the main character's people.

(younger version)

(current)

I'm also really fond of Sarelle at the moment, Avyya's goofy but incredibly competent right-hand lady. Neither of these characters have appeared in comic yet, but Sarelle will be showing up fairly soon.

Sarelle is quite snarky but, you can't respect someone if they don't respect you back. I like both Avyya and Sarelle's designs, they look similar to one another yet they look completely different. .

My favourite Oc is Alex
She is a powerfull demon with a kuudere attitude

I love my OC Zed, although I am yet to publish his series smile

He's an unstable Mage that bursts with volatile explosions, and is wanted by bounty hunters for his magic potential. He's also not your usual hero, more of a I-don't-care guy smile

I like the contrast of black and white on your OC's outfit. I like how he somewhat breaks the mold of typical mage character.

She's a demon just like my first OC Zlair. However, her demonic heritage doesn't seem to affect her appearance enough though. My first OC Zlair is the same way. stuck_out_tongue

Well, uh... * looks at 128 GB collection of work* Um. A lot of them? Like, I have 450+ characters kicking around across 35+ fictional universes. There a lot to choose from. :T

While I kind of adore all of them for different reasons, my favourite character from Grassblades is currently Dateh, but there's another character coming up much later in the story that might coup him out of first place.

Dateh is my current favourite for being a big old potbellied motherhen, who worries like a champion and is remarkably timid for a man his size. Favourite hobbies include cooking for other people and writing sentimental poetry.

... Which I REALLY hope to work into the actual comic at some point, because d'aww.

Favourites from other works though? Hmm.

I like this lady! Her name is Asa Skullwalker (which is hella metal, I know XD). She's a spirit-walker/shaman living with her tribe - and other tribes of the same ethnicity - in a big, rolling grassland, and she spends her time looking after her tribe, knocking heads together when she needs to, and making sure that no one disturbs the sacred standing stones dotted across the grass. Those stones aren't for worshipping - they're anchor-points chaining something ancient and destructive that sleeps beneath the ground.

I really want to do more with her story at some point.

Also this lady, whose name is Ran. She's a restless traveller type, who spends most of her time roaming the world and adventuring as hard as she can - and when she needs a break, she heads to a lighthouse at the edge of a distant sea, where her stay-at-home husband lives, keeping the light on for passing ships.

And finally this lady, Burn the pirate queen. Burn doesn't like you, doesn't value your opinion on anything, and she's here to take your stuff and will straight-up murder you if you stand in her way. And maybe even if you don't - she's kind of chaotic. It keeps people on their toes. Favourite pastimes include: drinking all the booze, shouting at people, setting fire to things, rolling around on her big pile of ill-gotten gains.

.

Seriously. So many characters, so many stories, SO little time. D:

This guy, but he isn't going to appear in my comic for a couple of chapters yet, which is killing me because he's so cool.

The calm and collected are sometimes an interesting character to work with. You can see them loosen up a little and learn to crack a smile.

Ah, it's hard to chose a favourite! From There's No Such Thing as Jason -- I.T., Dim and View/Jason tie! They are pretty inseparable, anyway, since they're integral to one anothers' identity (though Dim would do anything to rid himself of even a memory of Jason). This is such an old little drawing but I love it... I should update it!

Admittedly, Dim's a bit closer to home for me. I've really, really enjoyed developing him through the years. Jason's insanely fun to write and draw, though, since his personality's a little more out there.

Sighh thats like picking what child you love the most.

In terms of design I think this one I like the most,
This is Rhosyn from Two Faced

And then for personality
Ash (As a child), also from Two Faced.

Favorite Original Character... hmmmm...

I honestly think out of all the ones I have, it would have to be Vatilda or Valetin from my series Ephemeral Happiness

Vatilda is actually the very first 'old' character i've created in any of my stories as one of the main characters. she is the mommy of 2 adopted children. who is over obsessed with them but for a... uhh probably good reason. She's an over all very kind and loving character but doesn't hesitate kill if any danger comes to her children. I'd share more information, but doing so would spoil things about Ephemeral Happiness. so i can only talk about little details about her. Her Children mean a whole lot to her. it would be wise to not take them away. Don't gamble it folks. it's not worth it.

Can more than one?

Here are my favorite OCs

The Angel with Black Wings

I totally love her lonely and brooding personality. Not to mention she's one of the most beautiful and sexiest character I've ever made.

and Silver

Because of that hair LOL and that face.

...and her.

She's the "avi" in avimHarZ. She doesn't appear on The Angel with Black Wings because she has a different series of her own that I (hopefully) plan to do after The Angel with Black Wings is finished (because I can't juggle two series at once).

It's actually really hard to say which of my OCs are my favorite, but so far, I think Roxy is becoming my favorite OC! She was developed about 5 years ago she's actually one of my new OCs. She's vibrant, down to Earth and very imaginative. She isn't afraid to speak up when necessary and she's not ashamed of being a girly girl at times! She started off as a minor character in another comic but she grew on me throughout the years, I had to give her a more robust story to be in :3!

Oh man, you have no idea how much I love Roxy -- especially now that I know a little more about her personality (she's not ashamed of being a girly girl sometimes, ooooo!!!). She's gonna be my favourite character outta 2016, I can feel it. ( •ॢ◡-ॢ)✧

I'm glad you like Roxy so far! I feel like there's a lack of girly girls as protagonists in general, she's the first main character i've made who isn't a Tomboy and so far, she's becoming my favorite! smiley Glad you like that about her. :3

Its funny you bring up making alot of your girl OCs tomboys. Its somewhat the opposite for me but I don't mind . Also in my comic In The Midst the protagonist who is a girl-girl falls for a girl who somewhat a tomboy.

I haven't ever had a side character that became a major character. I like the outfit and color palette you chose for her, it perfectly describes her personality.

Having a character with an alter ego is usually fun to see especially if they have an actual relationship with their ego. Sometimes writing a character who is out there is a fun experience because they would do things other characters won't.

You quite the interst in birds and things with wings. (based on the two OCs with wings and the logo displayed on Avi's picture.

he sounds like a character who would definitely go through an interesting character arc. It's also rare for the parental figures to get alot of attention.

I feel a little ashamed to say my all time favorite OC isn't from my comic (Though he was in my old, discontinued comic). Ironically, despite being my absolute favorite baby, I really don't draw him much.
He doesn't really have two "forms" so much as "versions."
The human version of Finze:

He's borderline a villain in this version (Basically, I have three different "versions" of him, from three different stories/RPs so his roles switch around a lot). But he's basically one of those thin-eyed smiley characters with a very sharp tongue and will insult you in a way that stabs you in your deepest insecurities, but all while wearing a smile!

His dog "version" is actually a better person (And the original). He'll still insult you and find your deepest fears and insecurities and use them to his advantage, but at least in this version he's on the good guy's side!

I like the sly grin on the dog's face. It's quite rare to have those characters on the good side. It can make their fight against evil just a little easier. stuck_out_tongue

One of my favorite OC's is 'Kazuki', from an idea about… criminal kids/teenagers.
It was one of the first ideas I had… so it had been in my head for like more than 5-6 years or so? Oh well, the years go by faster than ever haha
I won't start drawing it for now, as I have plans to start another comic, but I'll surely turn this into a webcomic someday stuck_out_tongue

Anyway he's more the rich kid-type who always looks well-groomed and has a cold aura, but he is actually pretty kind and well-mannered… if the other person shares the same interest, which is, music.
He plays all kinds of instruments, but he prefers to mainly play the piano.
His idea of dedication and interest is so extreme, that it led him to do something pretty bad.
The reason I like him is because I always love twisted/somewhat crazy but polite characters.

And if you, just like my little sister, thought this was Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul, you're mistaken xD
I know he resembles him a lot and I was shocked too when I first started to read the manga.
It was so shocking that I nearly decided to change his appearance completely, but my love for suits and bowlcuts was bigger so I stopped caring haha

Him and Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul do have a striking resemblance but Kazuki's hair a little longer. I had a similar incident with my OC Sanoir where some people says he looks like Dante from Devil May Cry or Sasuke from Naruto. I admit I did take Sasuke's hair and added my own spin on it. However, his white hair and red coat I designed not having Dante in mind. The last thing is yout OC has the same first name as I do which is somewhat ironic to the similarity topic.

XD oh well what a coincidence!
I was looking for something sound related like echo, sound, harmony,… and decided to use 'Kazuki (和輝)'
About the similarity between characters, yes, it's pretty common, but even if they do resemble other characters, they were created by someone else, have a different personality, so they're what they are: an original character smile
But I should stop now, don't want to spam your thread by writing too much about this topic here haha
