Last non-Disney animated movie I did watch & enjoy was Kubo...overall, me watching animated movies has been on the decline over the last several years. I like Akira, but I dont love Akira- I dont have it in my DVD collection.

Honestly, I love the Prince of Egypt, but I can't watch it because Moses and the Pharaoh are brothers so I kinda don't want to watch for that reason...But I do love Joseph the King of Dreams! That one is the bomb!!

Here's one that hasn't already been mentioned above:

Garden of Words. The animation, the atmosphere, the art style, the music, the simple but still endearing story. Everything is so beautiful. Whenever I watch this, I cry, and not just because of the drama. Goddamn it, Greenery Rain is one of the best compositions ever, period.

P.S. Don't kill me over this, guys, but . . . I haven't ever seen any Studio Ghibli film ever, in my entire life (even though I've been watching anime for about thirteen years now XD). It's like, I wanna watch them all, but kinda not? Idk, I can't explain it. It's not a "bad fandom" thing either.

Toki wo kakeru Shoujo

I was literally sobbing in the end. Not as much as I sobbed in HTTYD2 (I ugly sobbed the last 30 minutes) but still. The animation is trash and cheap, but it's still my favourite japanese animation by far. Some of it I attribute to nostalgia too, but I really enjoy it still.

(I was going to add Eldorado & Sinbad in my original post, but thought 5/9 just being dreamworks would be too much xD)
