edit I think I misunderstood the question. I thought it was asking what powers my Oc’s wished they had. Apparently it’s actually asking which of my Oc’s powers that I wish I had.
That makes it much simpler: The Oc in my first story is me, and I already have any powers that he does.
The OC in my second story is a shapeshifter, and, among many other abilities, he can change into animals. I’d love to have that power.
Back to my original, didn’t understand the question post:
The MC in my first story, Wild Nights, Hot & Crazy Days, would have loved to have the ability to tell whether other guys were gay. Like maybe a sign floating above them or a glow around them that only he could see, so he could be sure when he saw an ally. I know this sounds odd, but he was so far into the closet and so terrified that anybody would find out about him that he went most of the first half of his life alone because he wouldn’t have dared share his secret.
My OC in that story is me. It’s a true story.
As for Daecon in my other story, Finding Daecon’s Way, he wouldn’t know where to start because he recently discovered that he already has many of the powers that he dreamed of (the ability to fly, to take on animal forms, to turn himself invisible, hyper vision, etc). He would like to be able to breathe underwater though (cetaceans and pinnipeds are not uncommon among the shapeshifters, and even amphibians and reptiles have happened, but there are no fish or invertebrates).
He’d also like to be able to travel back in time and tell young Daecon what old Daecon knows (and also get to know his father better), but we’d probably all like that ability.
