Your Opinions Please: Mascot or Babe?

I'm working on one of four different comic scripts. This one is very much an Alien Among Us story.

Thing is I can't decide which of these aliens should be the... er... alien. I can see the benefits of both so I'm asking around to see what sparks people's interests. Sketches and poll below.

I prefer Digby. Speaking of which I’ll be driving through there in two weeks. Maybe I’ll see her.

Digby would be a normal choice since comic artists think aliens are incomprehensible creatures or creatures we have no idea about--so they design them looking like humans but give them uncommon distinctive features.

This is soo common that people subconsciously choose human like silhouette as it appeals to them more or i should say it doesnt feel unfamiliar.

The second one can turn into the first one (ir the reverse), so you can have both the cartoony cutesy mascot and waifu-bait to suit any purpose. It's an alien, maybe it can shape-shift or use an alien tech.
