Your Villain Won!

Shit, it probably makes my story much more boring since there's no villain in my comic. There are guys, a faction in the setting, who can potentially be villains, but I haven't even come up with their description, let alone their motives or how they're antagonistic, since the part of the comic where they come into relevance is so far off yet.

So far the closest thing to a villain is the situation characters found themselves in, but how can a situation "win"?

My villian is a greedy power hungry person. Only thinks of himself and not others, even though he is part of an organization.

They would think they're doing everyone a favor by claiming all the power they can and being greedy. My villian would not realize ever that their actions were wrong.

Hmmm.... well it COULD be a spoiler. I don't know, can't really say. But there are some obvious things anyway...

The aliens would rule over Earth. Would they kill everyone? No, but they would occasionally kill people and not really care. I think most people would honestly be able to go about their daily life but there would be a good amount of people who would not enjoy it to say the least.

If my current antagonist wins he'd be spending an eternity killing the same people since they'll constantly reincarnate. Maybe he'll realize his plan may need to be reworked...

I guess.... If the villain won in Heritage, I guess it'd be utter chaos.
They'll think that they're doing it for the better good, getting rid of demons in their world, making sure humans doesn't destry their own world and others as well as making a life living hell for the others around them.
But they, ofc, believe it's for the greater good xD

In Beyond the Ordinary, no one's really a villain. But I guess that if they don't succeed with their plan, they'll go extinct and they kinda don't want that?
But if they were to do things the old ways, they'd go extinct anyway so they're pretty much desperate to find new ways to do their biddings, I guess? xD

There are two characters who are actual "villains" in the story, there are antagonists like Anne-Marie but she gets redeemed along with the rest of the human world crew

one of the two is doing their "villainous" thing because they and most others around them are being oppresed, forced to do underground work and even having to sell themselve sexually just to get by. While it's a noble act, they wants to assasinate this certain character oppressing them which is kinda, bad, because it's that character's job to make them suffer, they kinda deserve it.

Were this villain to win, they would just become a similar type of leader who only makes the lifes better for those they favors rather than the whole community.

The other villain kind of falls to the domino effect and also have a different set of morals due to their previous life, they went through alot of shit and when they finally find someone again they love and come to care about they realize that person favors someone else, leading them into a bad self destructive spiral

were this character to win, well...they would heavily hurt the person they love most and the other people who love them despite their issues, without even realizing it

hrrm... my comics is kind of vague who the real villain is (it's more a man vs society/himself narrative) and by the end of it, the villains kinda did win in a way lol

I guess if the villains won in convincing the main character to give up his morals and embrace bloodshed and anarchy, he'd probably go ballistic and out of control...but he might have some cool clothing cause you gotta be chic when you go evil.

An entire town lives in constant danger without even knowing about it, with no one there to stop or take note of any of it. And a shady organization is free to use the People of Chuck-Wills as their guinea pigs whenever they want. Plus a lot of other stuff that would totally spoil the story if I talked about it.

The villain in my story already wins so I don’t have to think too hard on this. They have to win for the future stories that happen in this world to take place (another war happening 700 years later in an attempt to regain what the losing side lost)

My cosmic horror romance turns into a cosmic horror tragedy.

The only villain(s) so far have been members of "Christina's" family. Beings who tried to whisper doubt into Brenda's mind about their relationship and insisted that she would either use "Christina" to gain inhuman knowledge or "Christina" could easily replace her because she's just human.

If Brenda had listened to any of their doubts, as opposed to trusting them to help her relationship, she would've become just like the rest of Christina's past lovers:

Dead, overcome with madness, and/or diseased with some inhuman infection.

So the stakes were very, VERY, high when she just up and vanished into the void.

Bestia's Wrath's main villain is capable of absorbing the life force of every living thing on a planet and plans to do the same on the scale of the whole Galaxy to fuel his immortality. So if he wins that's what's going to happen. I don't think he cares about justifying himself though.

well in one of the books I have not written yet, the "villain" is the main character. or at least to almost everyone else she is the villain, because that is how she is painted.
She chooses to be the "villain" in the end because she knows it is the only way to save her people. and they love her for it, even if they fear her.
her ending, while she gets what she "wants" or what she "wants for her people" she does not have a happily ever after, though neither does the "good guy" the "good guy" finds out too late that the man she thought would give her everything she wanted is really taking everything from her.
so while the people are saved in the end, there is really no happy ending, though it would have turned out far worse for the people the villain saved and stood up for if the "good guy" had won.

Because there's no villain in my story, the main characters are not heroes either.

Hm, there is no outright villains, more like people actions of whom go against main characters wishes. Main characters are villains itself to others. But if we go with first group people winning:

Mother (named Terra) of one of the guys (Bax) would force him into arranged marriage, because she finds it "right".

He wouldn't be happy in the slightest. Bax would continually avoid his wife(Deliah) who would look into ways of manipulating him into what she wants, since she she into the marriage because of status and wealth.

Deliah would eventually fulfill Bax's mother wishes by giving birth to a child conceived under completely wrong circumstances. He'd be okay father, but this would worsen his depression/grief further since he would feel not tied by that child to woman he don't love.

Terra would keep blind eye to son't emotional state. She would be happy, because that child would "heal" her emotional wounds.

Well, my current villain is the rich, selfish, manipulative leader of a clique of popular girls.

If she won (and in most cases she does) there wouldn't be an unattached boy in the whole school.

A lot of my villains don't really have a specific goal, other than causing mayhem. If they were to "win" (killing the heroes I guess), they would just continue doing what they're already doing.

Meanwhile, the Tilotarians (as seen in Unias Praetris) have a goal to rule over every world in that story's multiverse, which tbh is impossible for them to actually achieve. Even if they pulled it off somehow, there's no way they'd be able to handle that much responsibility, and it would likely fall apart pretty quickly. Doesn't stop them from trying, though!
