Do you have a link to any of your writing?

I'm pagan so when I reference deities it's usually the ones I am most comfortable with. I make a lot of my stories as almost devotionals to my Gods/Goddesses I worship. Most of the time i write them as my characters religious figures sometimes the deities interact if it's very important.

Don't sweat it man! It looks great

My comic Fear Full is a collection of short stories based around fear and how it changes people. It's got a creepy vibe.

I think about this a lot, I wish there were more things for the small creators. I'm scared to post on webtoons though because I feel like they are harder critics and I barely like my own content haha

I started my comic before I even knew about tap. And I drew it because I liked the story and I was proud of it. After I found tap and I started posting here my morale has dropped a little, because I didn't get the recognition I thought I would. And call it up to vanity or naivety but when I post a p…

I would hold raffles and such, but I don't have a big audience right now. I don't get tips at all really, and that's why I formatted mine that way. Haha. Idk if that sounds greedy, but I really would like to make a little money. Along with my updates I will be thanking the prize winners, like just…

I like when people theorize about my work, it's when they become assholes that I start to get annoyed. But I don't call them out or mention it at all, I just ignore them. The only time I would snap at someone is if they are being really gross (like sexualizing minors or actually harassing me) On h…

If you haven't been living under a rock, you know tipping is the next big thing here on Tapasic! ( You can read more info on tipping here if you don't know what I'm talking about.) And I've seen a lot of creators talk about having certain tiers for how much people tip! So I want to make a tread fo…

Absolutely! https://tapastic.com/series/Fear-Full is my comic. And I'm already subscribed to you haha. Can't wait to see it wink

It's all marketing. Really you need to find your niche of people who want to see your content. And that might not be on tapastic, you could have a better chance of it on tumblr or deviantart or webtoons. But you need to give them incentive to come to tap(I post mostly here for the ad cent haha) And …

I don't have any non human characters, but you should make a character with a radish head that always says outdated slang terms, but mostly "that was so rad!!" and finger snap at the reader.

I think you meant to reply to me haha. I believe in a lot of what you are saying! I think creators should put themselves in their stories however they please, because creating is about putting you and your work out there. And you don't have to apply to every critique you hear, but I believe you sh…

It is super tedious. Especially when you use the same place for multiple panels so you have to think: "okay where should the vase be in this perspective?" lol. I am very observant and I love looking at everything in a panel. As long as you at least try drawing backgrounds you'll improve. Since the b…

I just want people's opinion on how often you like to draw backgrounds in a comic and/ or how you draw them and include them in panels (like if you use perspective lines, if you look up references) I just wanna know how other people use them smile I think it's interesting how people use backgrounds in t…

I try to draw 2 pages a week. I color as many as I can, because I'm trying to catch up to my drawn pages haha. Some days I don't feel like really drawing, so I just do a rough sketch of 3 or 4 pages and add the details later. I found that really helped me get more done

Creating anything is a hard task! And I know people pour their heart and blood into their comics. But that doesn't mean anyone is exempt from criticism. I know the threads you are mentioning, and some of it WAS 'I hate it because it's popular' but a lot of it was also 'I don't like how people do XYZ…

Sure! I have seen a few lesbians commenting on this post saying they can't find good GL so here it goes: Moving In: A romantic comedy and a classic girl meets girl story. Very funny and cute. GLT: Same artist as Moving In! Anthology of short romantic stories. There Was a War: A forbidden love sto…

I am a lesbian, and I personally am not a big fan of the genre. Most of the time it's straight girls fetishizing gay relationships, and it's really gross. If you are going to write a comic about LGBT relationships and you are not LGBT, you should do your research. And I barely see that happen at all…

I think the best way to set up a world is slowly. Don't focus on the world itself, focus on the characters! Your characters are center stage, the rest fall along with it. Give your characters stories that dig deeper into your world such as; if they were poor or rich, if they are a minority, where th…

I have about 3 projects right now that I am working on. One of them is my comic and the other two are books. And I found that if I work on just one project at a time I become so enamored with it I end up loosing steam by the time I really get started on it. And in the past I have had a problem with…

I like the app a lot, but I wish you could see people's full pages (statuses included). Or at least be able to post a status on mobile.

My high school was different because it was so insanely small. I had about 40 students in my graduating class, and Pre K- 12th grade was all in the same building. The mayor of the town was my history teacher! And everybody hated him. He was really conservative, and one time he said "I don't think ga…

I like this idea! I don't know why it hasn't caught on yet. Anyway, my comic is Fear Full, it's a collection of short stories based around how people change and cope through fear.

Do you know why they got rid of that feature? It sounds more useful than picking only one.

Wow it's weird how horror and gaming have a big subscriber count but so few comics. Kinda makes me happy my comic is horror haha. This is a really interesting chart you have here. Thanks for sharing. @miesmud I agree with you, there should be more options for slice of life. Usually when I click o…

I have a comic called Fear Full! It's a horror revolving around how people cope and change through fear.

My comic Fear Full will deal with some heavy topics, but with more of a creepy/horror vibe. Also check out Void! It's really awesome and it deals with addiction/mental illness.
