[image] I wanted to include every important element in the story but it looks like a pirate adventure thing instead of a horror story. :,) The parrot is the representation of Soledad's emotional situation, the bells around her neck represent the oppression at the doctor's house, and the flame itse…
I just came back from a hiatus I've been feeling really tired lately
I struggle a lot with first impressions, so any kind of feedback will be welcomed! Please don't sugarcoat it
I just appear once and then disappeared out of the thread. Anyways here are some of my color palette experiments inspired by matchbox labels :3 [image] [image] [image]
Here's my trailer Hope you like it <3 [image]
I'm currently working on this one
But if you wanna check out a completed series I have also this one
Both are horror-themed and historically inspired
I've tried avoiding the days were the most popular webtoons, such as lore Olympus, updated. I don't know if that was a good move tho.
It's nice doing this for getting out of your comfort zone [image] I like the nice poster aesthetic you can give following a limited palette [image]
My first comic was like 80 to 50 panels per update which it's insane [:cry_02:] Now I just use around 20 to 40 and usually I don't exceed the file limit now. I'm very grateful for that. More is less sometimes
WELP, what a wonderful time to do things in the horror genre. I´ll have to delete a panel, so luckily it's not a big deal. Thanks either way!
Is webtoon more strict on nudity or in gore?
Here's mine: It's a completed short horror series with heavy historical inspiration about codependent relationships. It's only nine episodes
I've never thought about it, but yes.
Wuuuuu! I actually have one!
Thanks! I used Hit Film Express for editting and Live 2d for animating. Both programs are completetly free!
Sorry but...are you asking that to the thread creator or to the one with the comment above?
I guess they are kind of heavily historically inspired?
THIS IS SO GOOD, I wanna cry now, thanks
Spoiler warning for the readers of my both series
I'm glad I was not the only person to get hylics vibes from this. Also thanks for sharing my comic :,v It means a lot
I was so intrigued on what was your thought process for your comic layout, so thanks a lot for sharing! Your comments are always really well done and pretty helpfull.
I mean...50 % of my characters in both comics don't have names >
Yeah! Vertical can be so fun to work with sometimes.
RWBY creators be like:
I guess I got this? [image] This was going to be the original style for my comic but then I decided to change it for flat colors. [image] The collar of ayoyotes happened because I have like a chain of a lot of them in my room as decoration, but now I'm doubting if a collar with only two of t…
Dipping the paint tube in the solvent instead of the brush [:cry_02:] Fortunately, I have not yet tried to drink the solvent. [:cry_swag:]
[image] this shouldn't have been so funny but it got me
I love your trailer! It looks like you really have fun while making it. I don't know if it's the editing style or the character design or the music that got me really nostalgic. It reminded me of those multi editor projects the Homestuck fandom used to make back in the day. I think overall editing…
