And my review of your cover!
Will I click on it I clicked because I love chickens, and like a dream of mine is to actually have backyard chickens
**What's my opinion**
I think the art style is cute and simple. I definitely get the sense that this …

hey, new here to the forums! anyone wanna give me some feedback on these colours? i usually use a waaaay more muted palette, but im trying to brach out. these are kind of a lot, but i kinda like em? maybe ive just been looking at em for too long tryna go for a very shonen, bright and c…
I remember the thread about this! The new one ROCKS. It's shaped up so much!
Because the story is slow to warm up, I wanted to put the main theme on display immediately. It’s also a good size comparison for later pages where the two MC’s show up. I wanted to show off the Beast and his ‘shady’ personality as he steals the young woman and runs off into a dreamy forest at night…
Yeah, I think you misunderstood me. If it were just uncomfortable content, then who cares, but there's this line between uncomfortable and harmful. And I'm not just talking about kids, either. The fact that a story can be harmful when it perpetuates racism, or intolerance, or rape culture is somet…
The eyes The eyes The eyes are way too big [image][image][image]
I love these, they remind me of cut-paper. Nicely done.
So I grew up in a very competitive environment, went to very competitive schools, and overall what drives me to do art is because I want to become the best artist I can ever be. I want to be a master at my craft. So, it is hard to maintain that work/life balance, and when I was in my late teens/youn…
Drip meaning extremely fashionable and a AAVE term (lol yt people taking everything again) for everybody curious. And you bet my babies got that drip

I made a drip edit of Hanako, let me go find it rq Edit: Here she is (My downloads folder is a mess) [image]
Maybe. I don't usually go for the cartoony comics. [image]
Well... I make a different cover for every number, so HOW WILL YOU DEAL WITH THIS!! [image] haha! Well, anyway... for this thread porpuse, let's just take into account the first one n_n [image] And about yours, here is my review. Will I click on it - Not as it is*. What's my opinion I thin…
Personally, i agree with you and like option C more. Option D, when looked up close gives a psychodelic vibe due to the unusual texture. A seems more like an otherworldly entity due to the illusion of reverse colors and B just looks white.
I've been wondering about the same a while ago actually. I really hope it's not an offensive thing to ask, I just want to make sure to do it correctly I never got around to making a thread about this, but I did make some examples of how portraying dark skin in only black and white could look like.

Routine helps me immeasurably! And because I'm so familiar with my routine now, I can set small deadlines. For instance, lineart for an episode always needs to be finished by the end of Wednesday. Sketches have to be done by the end of Tuesday. (But preferably by halfway through.) If you plan to sta…
I had a lot of fun with mine ^^ Since my story is set in the 20s and follows the footsteps of a hitwomen, I wanted to recall it here. So not only did I put a poor fella who's "sleeping with the fishes", but I also based Alexinas' design on a black lionfish, they're venomous. [:hohoho:] [image]
I want my comic process to be as quick and as problem-free as possible so my plot is cemented. It's a script fully written. I may change things when I get there, but I want to put all of my focus on drawing once I start going, or I won't keep up with my schedule.
Hyperbole in the title, ruin is too harsh but I feel my enjoyment has been slightly dampened Like everyone else on here creating comics, I absolutely utterly adore reading them, my fave stories are what lit the spark to write my own & after almost a decade of procrastination, I finally got seriou…
Your best bet for getting a larger proportion of non-creators reading your work is to promo off-site. Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter are all pretty good, and I'm noticing the more effort I put into those, the more my readership trickles up. The best part about Insta and TikTok, is that Tik…
The wings... kinda bother me. Still, it was fun! [image]
Added a little more difficulty with a character with a little color palette, Flamebird, from DC Comics. I had a bit of trouble with the green, so I just end up leaving it on the eyes. Also take the opportunity to practice pose, muscles and shadows. [image]
To avoid such issues, i designed most of my pages to be self contained enough to be enjoyed on their own while keeping the story going. Generally, i go with 2 questions when updating a page: 1-It is relevant?: does it helps advance the story or develop the characters? 2-It is entertaining?…
hahaha yea. that's a good question I laugh because, my ideal episode length would be 4 panels :)) but then I have episodes that are... not ... that? look at the episode "Deep Fear"... I fail as a comicstripper
Since I had the time to sit down and do this, and markers don't take long... [image] This is a TERRIBLE scan that was heavily photoshopped to even 80% resemble the original (If anyone with Copics at home has any of those colors, then you know how 'off' this image is...), but... here's my take on…
Okay great! I can see what you're aiming for now. I think you have the right proportions here, and you mostly just need to work on your fine pen control, and maybe look at how you're drawing the eyes. The biggest thing you could do right now is to get some kind of drawing tablet or program that gi…
This isn't my usual art style but I wanted to try a "pretty Korean style" so here's what styles I incorporated for the Hot Guy Look (tm) half-lidded eyes Lower lashes / thick lashes in general cuz MEN HAVING LASHES MAKES THEM PRETTY Thicker neck = a hint of muscular masculinity Low eyebrows makes…
Good looking to the viewers or in canon? If you mean for the viewers obvs beauty is subjective so it depends on your audience. Tbh I think art style supersedes character design but what's equally important imo is character personality and role in the story. The way they're written is what makes them…
I made a quick drawing of changes I would make to make him look better looking, but that´s just my vision of it, it´s not meant as a critique. Your character also looks younger than the version I drew. Eyebrows closer to the eyes, more dominant "manly" features, smiling. Tastes are different. I mess…
