Cool I didn't know you had a YouTube channel. Here is mine. I don't do much with it other than a few speed sketches and paintings.
I will admit it's hard to find black stories and POC stories on this site lately. (Not sure if it's because creators are not using hashtags). when I find a story I usually go to their library to see what that author is reading. At my local library and an app they use there is a filter called African…
I'm a black artist/writer and I have a comic called Crystal Visions and features POC characters. It's a collaboration between me and another writer, BiannaHS.
Thank you these are great improvements
I have a comic that I converted the first couple of pages to vertical format. Some tips include pacing and dialogue. I ran across a lot of dialogue that had to be manipulated a bit to fit vertical. The max in a vertical balloon is usually two sentences the most. Some of my panels had to be cut in…

Ah, I see so I was throwing pennies (or .01's) ... Yes, I'm hoping someone from the staff clearly outlines the Ink to $$ exchange.
This is a very interesting topic. I bought a lot of Ink to give to my favorite creators and now I'm wondering if I was just throwing pennies at them.
I don't think I could ever do that large of a buffer. I would be too tempted to either use it up or change something in the story or plot.
I have a 5 page buffer, this is after I switch my update schedule later this month. I used to draw 2 to 3 pages per week but the last couple of months has really slowed me down.
I like sketchy line art and drawing the least amount of hands. I'm lazy with drawing hands though. I try to draw one hand every page so my comic doesn't look like it's all talking heads.
I go through this a lot. To be honest there are moments when I don't have confidence in my art. I'm not big on promoting myself too and socializing does not come naturally to me. But it does help that I try to communicate to the small 6 people that read my comic and care about my story. I try to foc…
Here is mine.
I haven't been drawing a lot but this is the last thing I drew besides anything for my comic. [image]
