Ashamed to say I haven't many images of my actual pencils for pages but I do have my storyboards all saved so here's a couple of pages from the first chapter of "Re:Grow"

This is the cover of the current chapter of my comic. I tend to do two sketches, one is like a thumbnail, and the second is more refined so I have an easier time with line art. But if the first sketch is clear enough I can do the lines from there.

This was a commission for someone's dnd npcs. But generally when i work, i draw the pose, and refine the clothes so i know where i am going with my line work.

I'm really in awe of Roy_Wolverine's work with lines and curves, creating really great contours like it's nothing, and creating a depth of perception and everything just looks great when he's done. The sketch took about 5 minutes.
The overall page was done about 2 hours later.

It's amazing to see how simplistic the sketch is for some these when you see the detailed end product!

When it comes to coloring full illustrations for me, I tend to get rather impatient in the initial stages like sketching or base color. I really love the painting process and sometimes the initial steps feel like a chore so I just stop when I really just want to start full on coloring. "Hurry up and let me paint..!" That's what it feels like sometimes haha

So sometimes it looks super different from what I drew out lol.

So question to everybody: are these loose sketches the very first draws, or you begin lining (Or coloring) straight after that? Because if so then holy shit how can you do that, my sketch phase is the main time sink in my pipeline...
