Here's my entry. Could really use the engagement since I submitted pretty late... [image]

If you have photoshop, it also has a pretty effective image compression on "export as." 1080x1080 jpegs that's around 1.2mb could get reduced there into 250kb without any noticeable quality loss.

I'm not sure if I'll continue uploading here after my first episode. I just couldn't find some decent outlets for this platform to promote on. Unlike Webtoon's which has tens of thousands of active members, most Tapas subreddits and fb groups barely has any engagements going on. And Discord's self-p…

Thanks! I also subbed on both webtoon and tapas. also gave your webtoon version a 10

I've scrapped mine 4x since 2017. Serious story problems aside, one of the biggest reasons that made me drop it repeatedly is the art. Solo Leveling was slowly growing in popularity during that time when I began working on my webtoon and it became my barometer on what's acceptable to release. It mad…

Mine's supposed to be an ensembled cast but this girl is one of the main leads. I haven't revealed anything about her yet since I've just started posting recently (still in the prologue) so let's refer to her as the "red-eyed girl" for now. She tends to appear emotionless and cold outside but she …

I take pictures with my phone and composite them with stocks and textures for extra details. I also draw over them and use photoshop to blend them with my scenes. As for the percentage of chapters that contain backgrounds, so far looking at my buffer, it's surprisingly more than expected. But it's …

Thanks! I also subbed on your two series. Tear Drops v3 in particular looks legit!

Yep, the first episode had a surprisingly pretty great start on Webtoon considering that I don't have a built in audience but I still think that it doesn't hurt to increase my options like Tapas. I've seen some other Webtoon Originals that also used to post here so it seems that it's a really great…

duuude! your stuff looks legit! I subbed to you as well. cheers!

"Do you mean that in a figurative sense?... Or in "A Rose for Emily" kind of way, darling?"

NP! Stay awesome! You're doing great!

Thanks! ufotable is my jam so hearing it compared to demon slayer makes me so happy  I've actually took inspiration from it, but moreso from Fate UBW and their Tales animation sequences!

Thanks! Glad you liked it  I gave yours a sub and also a 10. I've checked out a few of the first episodes. It reminds me a little bit of mieruko-chan vibes which is pretty awesome! You should also try uploading it here to widen your viewership!

Thanks for asking! The next update should be on the 21st. I'm planning on doing this bi-monthly so I can pump out longer episodes.

Thanks! They're mainly photos I took myself complimented by stocks and textures to fill in the blanks. I mostly just draw over them and use several photoshop effects to achieve its looks like camera raw filter to reduce the details and increase vibrancy. I'm not sure if it can be called matte pain…

Yes. Thank you so much for your support. Yours is the very first comment I've received and I will never, ever, ever forget that! Again, thanks! @Jastra

Haha thanks! That's most likely an unconscious influence on my part since I'm a really big fan of one piece and I used to draw 'em back in high school!

So I'm making this support thread as a shameless plug for myself to get the ball rolling! I'll be subbing and commenting as much as I can on people as well. So, share your stuff here, friends! SHARE TO YOUR HEART'S CONTENT! But please don't forget to check out my stuff and maybe sub on it as we…

Hello guys! If Urban fantasy or supernatural with a little bit of horror element is what you're looking for, then this might be up your alley! The title is Alab Code. I just finally uploaded it here on Tapas as well! Synopsis: They say that fate has a twisted sense of humor. Loran learns how…

Your manga looks legit! I just gave it a sub. Looking forward to read the rest of your episodes. I just uploaded my webcomic here on Tapas and I'd like to share it with you guys! [image]

Hey, this is the perfect thread for my work since I just posted here on Tapas as well. It's also supernatural fantasy with a little bit of horror element in terms of creature designs. It's called Alab Code. I hope you guys don't mind me sharing it here. [image][image][image][image]

I just uploaded the first episode of my webtoon here in Tapas so you guys can follow it here as well  [image] Here's the webtoon version as well

For me, this trope is the best when the characters are unpredictable and unapologetic with the way they do things while also having a human side that does not involve with them wrestling with their own morality. Some of the most morally bankrupt characters I've loved in fiction knew what they're doi…

By drawing a lot while constantly being mindful on what you're doing. Don't just draw as if you're on a quota and don't do it in autopilot. Be intentional and deliberate on the elements you want to improve on while drawing. I know it sounds simple but in my personal experience, I only began noticing…

Varying the shots of different panels to make dialogue scenes more interesting to look at. I hate it but it's necessary. Headshot A is fine. Headshot B, I can manage. Isometric shot though, is the bane of my existence. Too much work that affects the flow of a scene tremendously despite their subtl…

Thanks! Lots and lots of photoshop

Thanks! I posted it on 2 facebook groups that I believe are the main sources of my subs and views. One's the Small Webtoon Creators while the other one is a local artist group on my country called Black Ink Mangaka. I noticed the uptick on views and subs after posting on them. Funny thing is I was…
