i've been struggling to promote my comic, i'm almost to chapter 3 and have less than 50. getting a little disheartening but i realize my comic is really weird so i'm not gonna have a wide readership by default, and i genuinely enjoy making the comic more than anything soooo it'll get me down, but it…

i've also been really slow getting subscribers. but i don't do a lot of promoting lol  maybe once ever month or two. and since it's non-human characters the general readership audience i'm trying to reach is... smaller than average. but recently i took some really helpful advice i was given about …

oh, thank you! :heart_eyes_cat: i'm glad to know it's not the art itself and just, er, legibility problems lol. but yes, fixing the text is my number one priority, i've already edited episodes/pages 1-6. i did successfully not look at stats for months, because i've never made a webcomic (or any comic) before, and…

yeah, okay, i will definitely be prioritizing a new cover like immediately. tapas gives these large dimensions for it as a "book cover," but until you're uploading it, they don't tell you where exactly this "cover" will be used? since it has the same dimensions as an episode page, i had no clue it w…

thank you for your input! i can and will change the font on those first pages with the journal entries, and also lighten the speech bubbles. i can see now how it's difficult to read, but never noticed since... i'm the one writing it so it's easier for me to read, because i already know what's there …

ugh this feels a little awkward, and i hope this is the right forum to post to. i started this comic... oof, over the summer? i've posted extremely consistently since then, and i enjoy drawing it more than anything, but i have to finally admit the lack of subscribers/any kind of feedback has been …

haven't had good luck finding readers, and i don't really have time to devote to promoing on my own. my series is a little weird but maybe someday it'll get an audience. i kind of wish tapas had a better algorithm or something, so little-known series could get an equal opportunity to be seen.

have one for this saturday

we got a villain monologue moment coming up can you feel it [image]

i love looking at progress like this! it's a good way to show change does inevitably happen. my comic is still new and i'm still learning how to make comics, but the characters in them i've had for a loooong time. my character lavish has probably my favorite glo-up. here's the only remaining colo…

wow wasn't expecting all the huions! i use a wacom intuos, a massive upgrade from two years ago that replaced my previous $50 budget tablet. for programs, i love clip studio paint, have used them since i was a kid and they went by manga studio, same serial number and everything.

i started this comic last month, but i haven't done any promoting for it :fearful: hope some of you out there might give it a read! [image]

thank you, i'm glad you like the art style! your novel sounds interesting, anything with "demons" is sure to draw me in

hope someone out there might see this and enjoy it ^^; i've been basically doing nothing but blindly scheduling updates, haven't done anything related to promoting at all haha whoops annnd i have no idea how people are getting that formatting, cool https://tapas.io/series/Cult-Panic
