You got this! You'll get there as soon as you know it!

Niiiice! That kinda reminds me of C. S. Lewis. He just pops out a Narnia book once a year or so. Tolkien didn't admit it directly, but he was super jealous of his friend about it (considering it took him his whole life to write the LotR books). Haha!

Wonderful! Two novels done? I'm jealous! How long have you been writing/publishing these?

Niiiice! Historical novels are so fun to read! And I love Chinese culture! I'll definitely give it a read. Congratulations on finishing it! ^_^

Your art is so gorgeous! I absolutely love the colors and style you got going on here!

It's all good. I take your inference as a compliment, for it actually kinda fits her characterization. Haha! And I'll be looking forward to it! It's always fun to see novels turn into visual adventures!

WOO-HOOOOO! 500+!! WE DID IT, FOLKS! paper horn and glitter!

That "guy" is actually the main character's mother. x'D She's a trip. And thank you so much! I'm totally checking our your story, too! I'm all about those spooky monster tales!

I'm so proud to announce that I finished my first full book on Tapas, today!! It's a free-to-read multimedia novel called Frightful & Delightful. (The book is broken up into four volumes to help with organization, haha!) Lemme ask yah: What do you get when Looney Tunes, with a penchant for cult mo…

My gosh, the 3D rendering is just jaw-dropping gorgeous! It adds a fresh look into a novel that I've never seen before! <3

Oh my gosh!! Everyone's art here is so well done! I'm turning my novel into a multimedia novel experience, so there's pictures involved--and more pictures and animations coming its way! (I'm currently studying 2D animation/storyboarding, so here's to hoping my skills get better over time.) Volume…

Yo, people! Read @BlunderingAlbatross 's story! It's super good!

D'aw, thank you so much! Yeah, I'm hoping to add more pictures to the chapters over the next few weeks. And I'm so glad it reminds you of Are You Afraid of the Dark, because that's totally the vibe I'm rolling for. Haha!

All right, @BlunderingAlbatross! I'm-a reading yours! I love post-apocalyptic stuff! But in a fantasy setting too?! I can't wait to read it!

OH MY GOSH!! R.E.G.!! It's been so long, man! I was wondering how you and the other Tapas writers were doing. I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. :frowning: But I'm so glad to see you're back in action! Your previous book was phenomenal. I can't wait to read your new one!

Fantastic thread you got here, Eloquent! Thanks for the opportunity! Call me Howell. I was originally an English teacher living in Beijing, China. Now I'm in the US, working on my Master's degree in 2D Animation/Storyboarding. But I just love writing and drawing! Lemme ask you folks: What do you g…

Oh my gosh, Evangelion. I watched that show all the time as a kid (which I probably shouldn't have, but whatever). I should rewatch that now that I've done enough adulting to get it. And I never heard of His Dark Materials. Is it a recent series? Also, good luck on your projects! And I don't think…

Wow, those are some cool genres to mix! I'd love to check out your stuff. And I've never heard of Heroine or the Light Novels. Thanks for the suggestions!

Nice thread here! I'm currently publishing a YA novel series that eventually grows into the NA genre, since the theme surrounds growing out of teenage-hood and entering the adult world--which sucks for my characters since they live on a monster planet. Lol! The only book I can think of (of the …

That looks... fantastic. Violin, you are officially a wizard. Welcome to Hogwarts.

@Zaboem and @jiemae Yes, you're both correct. We the creators are responsible for marketing our own work. That goes with the creative business in general. Tapas is providing a free service where we may post our stories, and it is expected of them to highlight the more popular stories that garnered …

"The job offer was a hoax," said Abi, stirring the settled cream in her coffee. "Some damn China company got hold of my resume and is trying to sell it to every scammer, their moms, and their dogs." The New England diner wasn't too busy that day. The late-summer rain made sure of that. Sammy munch…

Agreed with @Littlemissno! Great job, everyone, for surviving July Writer's Camp! So far, I think everyone is in agreement with one pro and one con concerning this competition: PRO: The writing community absolutely thrives on Tapas. Writers show more camaraderie with each other over rivalry. Peo…

@Littlemissno It's true what they say: the author is their work's biggest fan! I'm glad you feel ecstatic about your story! That passion will definitely feed into your readers.

@Zaboem Yay!! I'm so glad it all cleared up! paper horn and confetti!

@lil-sea-salt The most important fact is that you've taken the first step! Thousands of others can't say the same.

@YaoiParadise I'm so sorry to hear that! I pray shalom and healing over your family. I'm glad you've at least been putting your work out there. Keep on pushing towards your dreams, because your dedication will pay off!

@R.E.G Haha! I like your entry. I have to admit, my first thought was "Deadpool" when I opened the link. I'll follow this story!
