Thank you! I hope you like it! It gets spicy as it continues. It'll be updated soon...sometime this month!

My series is about a vampire who's closed her heart to love and romance after losing her husband, and a merman who helps her move on from the past and open her heart. During their love story, they discover that they are more connected than they could have imagined. [image]
Thank you for the tips and advice!! Hahaha! I died at the "porno" thing tho! The sentence... things start getting a little…wet was supposed to be a hint that this is a R18 story (there are sex scenes in future chapters). But it was also supposed to be a cheeky play on the element of water since…
I wasn't too fond of the quality of Webtoon cropping but Tapas I think has good quality. I have Clip Studio so I can crop in the software. I choose to use Croppy because I can do both at the same time but after I found out the dimensions were wasting pages I'm just gonna stick to using the Clip st…
It takes me forever because i spend more time on social media and doing everything else but draw lol
Read books (published books but sometimes fanfic/online books is good too). Read books about writing like Story by Robert McKee 12 Principles of Storytelling For comics learn about comics. Read Making Comics by Scott McCloud. Read Understanding Comics by him as well. Learn story boarding (What I'…
I really wanna try this trope for one of my stories. I think you can make one of them like a fake-villain (like in Kill La Kill) and leave bread-crumbs that hint that the fake-villain likes the main character.
That's honestly surprising! But there are comics like Ava's Demon and Check Please that use the vertical layout too (well kind of Check please uses both I guess). They even print like 2-3 panels per page (I think). Maybe ask around to see what settings are working for other ipad users! Maybe co…
I haven't read a lot of GL (maybe about 3) but the ones I have read are considered shoujo-ai and they were cute. I like the friendships that blossom to relationships and uplifting each other and sending away bad guys.
Agree. I feel like webtoons are better than manga when it comes to the HL romance genre.
YEAH! This is what takes the longest
This has been me the past few weeks. I've been searching for josei and I've found a few good ones. It's harder to find good adult HL since the market is flooded with ones garnered to men. But I have found a few good webtoons for made with women as their audience in mind. I still keep my eye o…
That's how I felt about HL and BL comics. Every once in a while I'd find a good title but for the most part it felt like many just followed the same formula. And you're right, they have FINALLY come a long way. I think it's thanks to the internet mostly. I'm just now getting back into romanc…
I think you have a point here. Excluding Korean webtoons and Japanese manga, there has been an increase in LGBT graphic novels created and consumed in the US. I don't think you would even find a title like Heartstopper in like 2008/2010 (maybe idk).
oh I didn't know. I changed it
I have this tool but I don't find it to be that useful for me. I made my own fill bucket tool that has come in handy actually.
Only 30-45 minutes? For how many panels?
For everyone who says coloring would you be interested in a tutorial? I don't think my coloring process takes too long. Maybe I could help. It would be for Clip Studio Paint Only though.
I need a proper process. The story I'm working right now I kind of just jumped into it. After I finish chapter 1 I'm gonna take the time try to make a process. First, I start with a concept. Second, I design characters. Next I make little write.
Tagging!! I've been creating tags I know I will use and storing them on my PC sticky notes so that I can just copy and paste. When I look at other people I support they have so many tags-and i don't want to go through that because most times not everything is included in a specific tag.
What other alternatives are there? Ko-Fi. Pixiv Fanbox?
I work in book format then convert to a mobile-scroll format for webtoon/Tapas. I like the scroll format because it gives more space to add effects mood outside the panel (as well as inside). Conversion is a lot of work though I do admit, it's fine.
I was suggesting based on one of the people I follow but I was testing it out myself (just now) and for mobile place #2 is better but only if it is sliced in between panels (in the white space) and not through a panel. Yeah, place 1 with print format is definitely better for Patreon. When I do …
Same. Although I did become a patron to quite a few people this month, but only for this month. Going back to supporting 1 person by the end of the month. When you uploaded did you place it in place #1 or place #2? Place 1 is the best for page flip. Place 2 is best for mobile scroll. It stitche…
Philippa is my main girl and she's a witch. Her name means lover of horses. I was going to have her familiar be a horse mainly because she is an eccentric witch but changed my mind. But I may bring it back though! lol Didn't know her name meant lover of horses until I looked up the meaning just n…
I'M 30 SUBS AWAY from 100 Help me reach 100, please!! https://tapas.io/series/Pippa-Levi [image]
This is just what I needed. I was about to email my email a writing professor at my local college to see if they knew any students who would be interested in working with me. I'll try this instead
I was gonna do it on paper but I didn't want to bring out my corkboard! lol So this came to mind!
Bumping this up for new eyes!
