Thank you! I hope you like it! It gets spicy as it continues. It'll be updated soon...sometime this month!

[image] Keep your heart because she don’t want it. Philippa, a unique vampire, is devoted to her late husband and is stern about not getting involved with anyone to honor him. When unknown forces take a gift stolen from her—it falls into the hands of Levi, a mysterious merman with a familiar gaze.…
My series is about a vampire who's closed her heart to love and romance after losing her husband, and a merman who helps her move on from the past and open her heart. During their love story, they discover that they are more connected than they could have imagined. [image]
Thank you for the tips and advice!! Hahaha! I died at the "porno" thing tho! The sentence... things start getting a little…wet was supposed to be a hint that this is a R18 story (there are sex scenes in future chapters). But it was also supposed to be a cheeky play on the element of water since…
I need help with my series description/details. I want to rewrite it entirely. I don't feel like my current one matches the vibes of my story very well. My series is a sweet and spicy strangers-to-friends-to-lovers story. Romance. Fantasy, Drama. Here is the new version (which is still a WIP). I…
They haven't been updated since 2021 on web! [image]
I wasn't too fond of the quality of Webtoon cropping but Tapas I think has good quality. I have Clip Studio so I can crop in the software. I choose to use Croppy because I can do both at the same time but after I found out the dimensions were wasting pages I'm just gonna stick to using the Clip st…
Does anyone still use Croppy? Croppy is an internet tool that helps crop your webtoon. If you upload your webtoon files it will even crop both at the same time. Which is super helpful!! If you're like me and post on both Webtoon and Tapas you can't crop at the same dimensions. Tapas allows 940x20…
It takes me forever because i spend more time on social media and doing everything else but draw lol
Read books (published books but sometimes fanfic/online books is good too). Read books about writing like Story by Robert McKee 12 Principles of Storytelling For comics learn about comics. Read Making Comics by Scott McCloud. Read Understanding Comics by him as well. Learn story boarding (What I'…
I really wanna try this trope for one of my stories. I think you can make one of them like a fake-villain (like in Kill La Kill) and leave bread-crumbs that hint that the fake-villain likes the main character.
That's honestly surprising! But there are comics like Ava's Demon and Check Please that use the vertical layout too (well kind of Check please uses both I guess). They even print like 2-3 panels per page (I think). Maybe ask around to see what settings are working for other ipad users! Maybe co…
BACKGROUNDS!! MOTHER F--KING BACKGROUNDS!!! I see why people use sketch-up. I would use it but I don't feel like taking the time to learn a new program right now. I got 10 other things I'm trying to learn so it's gonna have to wait. Also Dialogue. I don't plan well and find myself changing th…
I haven't read a lot of GL (maybe about 3) but the ones I have read are considered shoujo-ai and they were cute. I like the friendships that blossom to relationships and uplifting each other and sending away bad guys.
Mine was Todd Allison and the Petunia Violet it actually inspired me to get into making comics, I thought I had to be some manga drawing pro to make comics. Anyway, it got canceled or put on an indefinite hiatus or whatever, it never finished and it never will. What was the first webcomic you …
Agree. I feel like webtoons are better than manga when it comes to the HL romance genre.
YEAH! This is what takes the longest
This has been me the past few weeks. I've been searching for josei and I've found a few good ones. It's harder to find good adult HL since the market is flooded with ones garnered to men. But I have found a few good webtoons for made with women as their audience in mind. I still keep my eye o…
That's how I felt about HL and BL comics. Every once in a while I'd find a good title but for the most part it felt like many just followed the same formula. And you're right, they have FINALLY come a long way. I think it's thanks to the internet mostly. I'm just now getting back into romanc…
I think you have a point here. Excluding Korean webtoons and Japanese manga, there has been an increase in LGBT graphic novels created and consumed in the US. I don't think you would even find a title like Heartstopper in like 2008/2010 (maybe idk).
oh I didn't know. I changed it
DO NOT PROMOTE YOUR WEBCOMIC HERE.. Personally, BL provided me with refreshing characters. I got into it a few years ago (2018/2019) but didn't really dive into it until 2020. Shoujo became too predictable--the character tropes were outplayed and becoming annoying. It wasn't easy finding a good s…
I have this tool but I don't find it to be that useful for me. I made my own fill bucket tool that has come in handy actually.
Only 30-45 minutes? For how many panels?
For everyone who says coloring would you be interested in a tutorial? I don't think my coloring process takes too long. Maybe I could help. It would be for Clip Studio Paint Only though.
What part of making your comic takes the longest? 1. Thumbnailing 2. Drawing 3. Inking 4. Shadows/Highlights (or Lighting) 5. Coloring 6. Text (Speech Bubbles /SFX) 7. Layout (if you convert from print format to scroll format) Productivity Timer - https://neilblr.com/post/58757345346 by Neil Cic…
I need a proper process. The story I'm working right now I kind of just jumped into it. After I finish chapter 1 I'm gonna take the time try to make a process. First, I start with a concept. Second, I design characters. Next I make little write.
Tagging!! I've been creating tags I know I will use and storing them on my PC sticky notes so that I can just copy and paste. When I look at other people I support they have so many tags-and i don't want to go through that because most times not everything is included in a specific tag.
What other alternatives are there? Ko-Fi. Pixiv Fanbox?
