Are you 100% positive about that ? My print to pdf option says Microsoft Office pdf.... on my old pc I didn't have an Adobe sub and it let me print to pdf all the time. I'd test now but I caved and got a sub so not sure- hope that is a free option still

Have you tried looking at it on different monitors?. Granted my monitor isn't calibrated but there isn't much difference between the two.
