My comic is largely an anti-depression mechanism. My motivation is not wanting to slip into a deep depressed funk.
New episode of Conspiracy of Birds here: http://tapastic.com/episode/173678
The key is practicing, not the medium you're using. That's like saying you shouldn't try to paint until you've learned fingerpainting sufficiently. Don't listen to that sillyness. If you want to use digital, use digital.
I'll add anyone to hangouts that wants to stream and chat... trevormckee@gmail.com , or leave me your google account. Series is: http://www.tapastic.com/series/conspiracyofbirds
Go for it. What's stopping you?
I do google+ hangouts/streams every now and again when I'm working. Feel free to add me to your circles: trevormckee@gmail.com
Yeah I've done a little bit... mostly dragging around sub tools so the ones I use most are front and center so to speak. [image]
Yeah I draw every day. There are times when I tell myself I'm going to take a break for a day or two, but that never actually ends up happening.
No you'd have to own the copyright for the content. Fan comics are a no-go.
It counts if you share your post link to a bunch of groups or something on FB, even if you didn't enact the share directly from Tapastic. For example I'll regularly share a comic with roughly 6 groups, so I know that accounts for 6 of that total number.

6-10 hours figuring in layouts, pencils, inks, colors, lettering. I typically do a 4 panel comic per week. Varies depending on the complexity of the scenes and what's distracting me, of course.
