Hi, thanks so much for your help! I am glad to discover that it is possible to post vertical format there! I will look into this. Also your website is looking great! :o Is there a way to make scrolling the default way of reading? when i was clicking infinite scroll in your website, it took me out t…

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well. I've been thinking of uploading my comic to comicFury as an archive of sorts, and also it's pretty cool how it let's you have a website so you can have extra pages like a cast page etc. My two issues are that my comic is scroll format, and all comicfury layouts…

Hey there! I'm optimistic that I'll reach 250 subscribes by then, (currently at 230 subs!) but in case i won't, I'd love to join regardless! Thank you so much!!

I drew Ellie from my comic as a Pierrot for Halloween! c: [image]

Hey there! I think I might actually have some good resources for you. The best way to improve is to do a lot of figure drawing, however, there are some tips by other artists that really help with simplifying forms. Line of action - this is a good website for practicing figure drawing. This little s…

this is a fun idea!!!!!!!!!! drawing expressions is my favorite thing. Here are some selected expressions of Aaron, one of the MC from my comic. He Has The Range [image]

This thread is so nice and interesting! I love seeing what people are up to beside their comics! I work in graphic design and typesetting for book publishing! I made a few book covers, most of them are just design but two others have my illustrations on them, too. Which made me very happy and prou…

Oh nice! I've been meaning to try out Pillowfort for a while -- if anyone has a spare key, I would appreciate it!

Sounds good! Thank you for your advice!

Hi! I don't really have a fanbase - but I do have other artist friends, who might want to make a small guest comic! This is a cool idea! Compiling some sketches and Q&A are also great ideas, generally it seems like a good way to interact more with readers. I'll think about it, and see what works. …

Hello everyone! I currently work in two jobs, and I expect my schedule to be pretty tight; I want to keep my comic updates as consistent as possible, but im currently only one update ahead -- the rest is still in thumbnail/writing stages. T I currently update once in three weeks, which is already qu…

Here's my Account! I post art and comic updates. https://twitter.com/fancyfrogPNG I will take a look at the other accounts on this thread! I am also looking for ways to improve the way I use twitter, I don't like the way it crops images in the preview, but, on the other hand, it's also a great tool…

Hmm I see, then this feature is pretty symbolic huh.. I'd be extremely lucky if i ever get enough impressions to actually reach the 25$ mark and collect it. Thank you for the replies everyone!

Hello everyone! I've recently joined the Tapas Ad revenue program, however I couldn't find any information about it in the forums after 2016.... Anyways - I've been wondering what is the dollars per views rate? And more importantly, why isn't this information written somewhere visibly accessible? T…

Fanart of willow from the owl house!! :herb: (posted it on twitter too) [image]

Thank you so much! : O

The same thing happened to me!!! I'm super grateful for it but it also came out of nowhere!! :o Yay for us I guess! c:

Right! Personally I love the series much more than the movie, since they have pretty different atmospheres to them. But it's interesting to see the story from Laura's perspective (although I confess, it wasn't the same without my absolute favorite agent cooper...) And I'm glad to hear, it's honestly…

Ohhh... Totoro is SO sweet and heartwarming, it's basically a Hug manifested into a movie. I was lucky enough to visit the Ghibli museum, so I grabbed as many totoro merch as I could, hehe.. And I really hope you get to celebrate Halloween! That sounds like a very cool idea for a costume, although i…

Interesting points! It's impressive that you can just come up with the dialogue as you sketch the thumbnails. And yes, cutting out characters is painful... but sometimes that's a sacrifice you must make to advance your comic into a possible length...!

Oh, that's nice! I've actually saw people use Trello for writing, I should maybe try to experiment some more with it!

I see!! Mine is quite similar actually! Thank you for sharing your process! :o

Hello everyone! Since there's no "official" format on how one should approach scripting their Comic, I'm curious to know and learn how other creators do it. I'm really inexperienced in that kind of stuff. I try to keep my script similar to a movie script format. I have a general outline divided to a…

Ahh there are so many... I LOVE Twin Peaks. It's my all-time favourite series. I think to me, it's the essence of everything I like. It's quirky, dark, has a good mystery and unique characters, and it's not afraid to become surreal or strange! Another big inspiration for me are_Ghibli movies_! Ea…

Out of all free programs, I find Krita the best option for making art! It's completely safe to use. FireAlpaca is also a pretty good free art software! However if you are getting into digital art and want an upgrade in the future, I would recommend investing in Clip studio Paint! The price is rea…

Hello, new forum user here! First of all, I feel like reading the frustration and past experiences of other creatives here in this thread made me more well informed about the situation. I did use the promo threads thinking it'd be another way to share my comic (aside from other social media), but ma…

A character doodle.. Who will hopefully someday appear in my comic ;_;)b [image]
