What I like: I am a sucker for a good diary style story, and this really does feel like something you could have found on the ground and picked up for a read. There's no worries of an info dump and the author of the diary seems to be learning about the world and exploring with you.
Who I'd recommend: if you like a good dystopia that isn't about a revolution and want to just explore the world, or would like fun read about a new world where they make the best of their life in a kind of sucky world.

What I like: This story grabs you from the first paragraph and drags you along for the ride, and no matter how much I kicked and screamed, I couldn't tear my eyes from the screen. I hated the villain from the first page and I love to do so. You will wonder how it will end.
Who'd I recommend: If you like to get inside the head of the killer and not just be freaked out by what they do but get chills doing it, or you want to love to hate an antagonist. This has some violence and gore, but it is not too much or trying to be edgy, so if you enjoy some of that, it may count as a bonus
