What you like: the writing style is f a n t a s t i c, funny, full of wit and character. the characters themselves are engaging, particularly the lead, who has a dramatic way of expressing himself internally and a very interesting family background that is still slowly being revealed.

Who you'd rec: someone interested in a BL story where the characters and plot is the point of interest rather than just reading to get to the romance. a very enjoyable comedic read too, so someone who likes a humorous 600 year old vampire lead.

you are a real shock to the system
i lov eyou

What I like: this story is great! love the writing style, love the inclusion of two different languages for two main protagonists who come from very interesting and polar opposite(? imo) backgrounds, ergo their cultures are different and personalities. There's also a cool grandma in this story and I love cool grandmas.
Who I'd rec: If you like BL! this is a BL story! But also if you love drama, if you like angst, personality clashes and slow burn. This is an awesome story! the writing style is on point, the dialogue's inclusion of different languages is pretty damn seamless. It's a great story! one of the few that i bust my ass trying to keep following

What I like: I love the story and how it is written. The humor is on point. Even though the artist is still learning, the scenes and panels are well placed and interesting to look at. Also, there are quite some characters and I'm impressed, how different they are. They all have their own personality-trope and also act as they should.

Who I'd rec: This is made from a learning artist and if you don't mind some good change in quality and artstyle, you'll might find another awesome comic. Especially if you are into an interesting fantasy world, that deals with demons and teens who have to get schooled into controlling those powers. The comic is in the start phase, but the juicy part is comming soon, I think ^^

What I like: I like the way it reads and what it's about. It's 1st person but it's all the main character's thoughts, it's cute and dark and wonderful so far!
Who I'd rec: It's got witches and covens so if you're into that, I'd recommend it. It also seems like a coming-of-age story how the main character is young and is learning about herself.

What I like: I love the characters and the overall story. It's got some undertones to it that make me want to read more. It also has some nice fear to it with some of the characters.
Who I'd rec: Anyone who loves the sort of medieval adventure kind of stuff, this is a good one. Anyone interested in a princess on a journey, this is for you. There's some relatable stuff in here: freedom, acceptance, always being looked over and also the whole quest that seems to be coming up. So if you're looking for something new to read or some food for thought. 100% read this!

it's a real shame i found this story on the day the competition ended, but here:

Tags: Period fiction, murder mystery, letter-format (for the lengthier episodes), multiple perspectives (9 total), bit of romance, drama
What I like: it's a beautifully written and uniquely composed story told through letters, telegrams, recipes ! a very interesting format that i don't think has been tackled before. the style of prose is pretty on-point for the time-period that the story is set in, every character is interesting in different ways (especially enjoy how the format changes depending on each POV)
Who I'd rec: people that like historical fiction, murder mysteries, a very, very uniquely structured episodic format, drama .! it's good! very cool!

Tags: Mistery, Noir, detectives, cyberpunk
What you like: I like the backgrounds, the color palette, that neonlike is really awesome, the context, a cyberpunk world with noir sensibilities is just superb, it brings nostalgy to you.
Who you'd rec: Anyone who had enjoyed cowboy bebop, ghost in the shell, or just like police stories

There's an amazing story that was published for the July Writers Camp that doesn't have nearly enough subscribers, likes, or comments in my opinion. It's called Elina and it's refreshing, charming, and sweet. The two main characters, Elina and Salem, have such amazing chemistry and I adore all the little fantasy details. Please give it a read!

Same Soul is a really great BL story; I love that the emphasis is not so much on sex as it is on story and characterization and the compassionate sides of love unlike so many other BL stories. It's another breath of fresh air and the concept is really fun and unique. I love the idea of a normal kid like Bradley switching souls with a criminal. XD

There are a bunch of other amazing stories out there, but these two just really speak to me <3.

What I like: I wait on every update just to see what's going to happen next. Even though each event in the plot isn't over-the-top dramatic, they're realistically funny and a great edition to the story line. It's also refreshingly funny and the dialogue is well-written, which is a personal weakness of mine. The main character, Charlie Summers, is so sassy and sarcastic (you guessed it; well fleshed out characters are also my weakness).
Who I'd rec this for: Just about anyone would like this, I think. It's relatable and has a witty sense of humor. I suppose if you don't like more subtle stories, this may not be the comic for you, but otherwise I wouldn't hesitate to rec anyone else!

I know how you feel! I was disappointed too, but I just checked, it's back up and he said he made a mistake when he tried to delete something else. It's back!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

What I like: Listen, I've fallen in love twice in the span of two weeks on Tapas, which is 2 more times than I've fallen in love IRL in the nearly 22 years I've been alive. This story is only 5 chapters in and I'm having heart palpitations. And that's what I like, when a story makes me need chest compressions.

Who I'd rec: Moms. Sons. Daughters. Fathers. People with a heart. People without a heart. You name it.
