This is a weird question but here we go...
I'm a numbers sort of guy and I was wondering what people think the exchange rate from Tapastic to Youtube subs is?
Meaning that for example, 10 subs in tapastic might equal having 50 subs on Youtube. I suppose it is a measure of popularity given how much bigger Youtube is to tapastic. But there are probably way more variables that i haven't considered...

I don't know, what do you think?

This depends on so many things.

First, what's the real reason for this comparison? If the main point is to simply figure out the different sizes of the active userbase for the two sites, then it might be better to just ask about the size of the userbase.

But if you're trying to compare profitability: e.g. how many subs do you need to make $100/mo on youtube ads versus Tapastic ad revenue? Then the answer may be quite different from a simple sub-to-userbase ratio.

Thats some deep thinking, but heres the evidence.
The Person with the most subs on here has 100 k. On youtube its 50mil
Divide them both by 5 and you get 20k and 10mil
So 20k=10mil
Divid by 10, same thing
2k=1mil
Divide by half again
1k= 500 K
500=250k
250= 122.5k
122.5= 61.25k
61.25= 30.62k
30.62= 15.31k
15.31=7.655k.
I think this math is correct, anyway.
But 10 tapastic subs would be a little less than 6k in youtube subs.
Thats not even adding in the users, and the other comparison factors

It's an impossible math if you really want to get down to it. For youtube, it depends on what kind of content you have that is appealing to the majority of the audience despite there is literally millions and millions of people active on that platform. You could be fast gaining sub, but you could be super slow. For Tapastic, it's similar, but different. I do mostly comic, but I also post music video and animation I made on youtube. I'm currently sitting at 718 subs on Youtube while 1k8 for Tapastic and 22k for Webtoon.

See? The math formula doesn't work at all LMFAO.

haha no reason - just pure interest cause as I said it's a strange question.
But yeah I can see that there would COUNTLESS factors into this problem but hey it's fun to think about these things stuck_out_tongue

Basically put, Let's say you have 10k subs on youtube and 10k subs on Tapastic. Because YouTube is a much much larger social media site than Tapastic is, you will make a lot more money on YouTube than on Tapastic. Does this answer your strange question? @SirGutsalot

I like your enthusiasm, but perhaps the comparison should become less linear as it goes down. It's really not hard to get 15 subs here, whereas 7.5k on YT is a decent achievement.

Thanks anyway, but my math is correct when it comes toward splitting the numbers. But it doesnt consider the content, the population, it doesnt consider a bunch of things. Im just saying that 15 subs on tap with its population, would equal 7k on youtube. Based on the most subbed to people
