In Almighty Protectors1, the character of Pinball (the blue one--that name will actually be given to the character next update) is an aro ace. Platonic relationships all the way for hir, because that's how zhe rolls.

This one is devoted to asexual MC:

Also I doubt if the characters of this comics can make sex cause they are made by too few geometric figures: :joy:

But wait... there are kids in the last issue. How have they appeared?:thinking::thinking:

As far as I remember the main character in Canticle is asexual. :ok_hand:

One of the main characters in my current comic is ace, but it will never be mentioned because it is not relevant to the story. Not even sure it will even be noticeable to the readers.
That just made me realize I've written so many things about the characters that will never be shown in the comic

aw thats a bit sad honestly.
even if it's not a part of the plot its nice just knowing a character is canonically ace, u know?
either way you should link your comic!

I thought about it, but decided to go with my personal approach, which is to keep it as something personal. It also fits the character better.

The story is just starting, and there will be plenty of chances for it to be mentioned if I change my mind later

Here is the link!

Hi! My mc is demisexual, and his mentor is an asexual aromantic! I will have plenty of other ace characters as the story goes on. It will be very preachy about the importance of pure platonic relationships. (I'm not ace btw)

I'm not sure how you'd class seven fingered universe creating gods with stars for heads, but they don't have sex like we understand it.

They do create life though. So think what you will.

It's not an ongoing comic, but I'm Ace and "came out" with a series of minicomics!

As my editor said earlier in the thread the main protagonist in Canticle, Mura, is asexual. Here's a picture of him and a link, check it out if you'd like!

eeeeee gotta love ace kids!! this older comic of mine isn’t running anymore (would love to get back to it someday), and has a big cast of characters who are all in a street gang together - but it’s the year 2100, and they’re trying to sell illegal tech! the “main” char (it focuses on a few over time, but he’s the main one in my mind) is not only ace, but in a loving and supportive relationship with a non-ace guy.

a little more lighthearted than that, the next series i did was called questables, and is a more strip-by-strip comic following a bunch of dnd adventurers. the character arin is aro, and is in a relationship with rose, who is ace :^D

oh cool!
may i ask what the relationship between arin and rose would.. be ? because they’re aro and all ;

I'm ace but I got maybe 2-3(?) characters who are ace out of hundreds because its so rare. Smokestack who plays a role as a rival fighter is asexual and sexless (technically transexual since they transitioned?). It's not really explored since the comic is a very short comic but they'd be the type to not be sex repulsed at all: their reaction to the perverted demon in chapter 5 is just annoyance and frustration they would allow a disqualified fighter back lol

Oh I must've missed this topic back in April!

I like to say my comic has the most aro/ace characters of any webcomic but when the comic takes place in the Ghost world and every ghost is aro/ace it's easy to make a high number XD

Use to be on Tapastic, now on Hiveworks! Check it out here!

they're in a relationship together, which is only sometimes sexual and sometimes romantic, depending on respecting each others' moods and wishes - most of the time it comes off like queerplatonic, they're best friends who're inseparable, but a little more physically affectionate than Just Friends would be ((:

Did someone say ace/aro characters?? 0v0
I haven't posted my project yet because I still have a lot of plotting to do, but a majority of my characters are ace/aro!

Nimue, one of the main characters of my current tapas novel, is asexual, and explicitly refers to herself as such. She also happens to be a succubus, which makes her life rather complicated. Her romantic orientation may or may not be addressed in canon at some point later on, but I personally view her as gray-area / somewhere between romantic and aromantic.
I bookmarked this thread a while ago since it I knew her sexual orientation wouldn't be confirmed in canon until the most recent chapter.
