I am going to throw in the ever so gorgeous and well done Laid in Lavender by Hal Weightman.

It starts back up soon, check it out!

i am a trans creator :v:️ i'm gender fluid between he and she and sometimes vaguely in the middle, so non binary. my comics aren't About being trans, or about being anything LGBT, but they are about regular people having adventures and getting into situations - but my casts are always entirely lgbt. in Rechargeable22 there is an agender character, a pre-transition trans boy, and a post-transition trans man (Tinman - it doesn't really have anything to do with the story so it's not in issue 1 or 2 yet but it's canon). in Questables4 the cast is mostly cis except for arin, who is genderfluid.

By all means, take all the recs. 8D I've actually never read a Tapas novel until I read yours, and it's really good. I love Alexi's attitude and personality, Theras is a sweetheart too. I can't pay to unlock the other chapters, but best of luck with your novel!

Aaaaa I just caught up with Pretty Boy and it's amazing!! Both very relatable and encouraging. Thanks for the rec -- and yeah boosting your own comic is absolutely okay. I love Coffee O'Clock and recommend it to anyone. 8D

Oh whoops I thought I replied to this when I liked it. I love that your characters are LGBTQ -- I think it's important to have a diverse cast of characters in any story, not just stories specifically about a certain group of people. That's why I'm working on my own LGBTQ+ comic, but it's not specifically about being queer.

And I'm really glad you added Questables because I LOVE that series. Your artwork is just very charming and I fell for the characters pretty quickly. xD

Ooh thanks! I'm gonna be checking out a lot on that Tagpacker, I didn't even know there was something like that. And you can total mention that for anyone else on here looking for recs. 8D I'd definitely recommend your comic to anyone.

Yeah, @potatoe1988 is the person who runs it along with the LGBT Webcomics23, and The Slash Pile10 blogs.
Lol sure. My comic12 does touch a little on some gender and sexuality stuff later on, and the characters are queer in some way, but the story itself doesn’t have any noteworthy queer themes. Also I’m not cis-gendered? But I’ve dealt with sexual orientation policing in Tapas forum, so I won’t get into details since I don’t have the energy for any back-and-forths.

I'm a trans creator, but my comic13 doesn't have much trans content (there's a historical figure referenced in the current chapter who is trans, but I don't make a point of discussing it because it's not relevant to the plot). It has a fair amount of LBG content though.

I have to say I don't write trans characters particularly often, and I've not posted any works featuring them online yet. I find it difficult to relate to a lot of trans characters in comics, whether autobiographical or fictional, written by trans creators or not, so I'm not sure how well received the trans characters I write would be.

Aaah I just finished the prologue and I gotta say I love it too. 8D I'm bookmarking that one.

Same here! And yeah God Town I'd definitely recommend to anyone -- though I gotta read the latest update. I have like 62 new comic notifications because I haven't been on Tapas lately. xD;

Great topic! I'm going to check them all out, I need more nb/trans stories in my library

And, if I can promo myself a little... You're already subbed to BSandL7 but for others: I'm genderfluid or something myself, and the cast of BSandL includes LGBT+ characters (e.g. the protagonists -- or only the other? The other one's an alien) and trans characters will appear in the story later on!

As a transman myself, I definitely understand the struggle of finding good comics with trans representation that isn't just a comic side relief or a transphobic portrayal. I'm planning to incorporate trans representation later on in my comics, but for now, I would gladly recommend With Great Abandon55. It's a great comic about a transman and cis male romance that was completed just recently!

I just put out the first chapter of the story I mentioned earlier. It's called Spectrum36. The three main characters are all LGBT+ characters, and one of them has their whole ark focused on gender identity.

I'm a trans guy who makes comics....
My current comic has a trans character who is yet to be revealed, too.
To top it off, it has canon gay and bisexual stuff goin' on.
(It contains violence though so be wary of that - and plenty of profane and hurtful language)

My diary comic also explores my personal experiences and my relationship with my significant other

This is not really, exactly, it's about a boy who switches back and forth.
But it came from my own sort of rejection of gender stereotyping.

I fall under the transgender umbrella. I don't like to talk about it too much (I've been seeking professional and non-professional help recently about it). I don't really write on the topic but I do sometimes have characters who are feminine men and masculine women. I do have a genderless character but it is never brought up in the series (and everyone calls them "him")

Tho, for other people's stuff, I would suggest Trans Man Walking18

Im a transwoman and a writer, currently only writing novels so no comics from me im afraid ^~^ though if a transgender superhero story interests you Spectrum18 is its name~
