@antimekii Those are pretty good! 2-3 hours for that is not too much time at all for copying a photo. That would take me 6+ hours probably since there's so much rendering involved. I recommend maybe trying to do more focused studies so you're not trying to process sooo much information in a single study.
So for example, just the bottles/glass in the first painting could be a whole material study, or just working with the portrait to understand skin tones and how light interacts with skin. Or for color just doing kinda loose paintings but focusing on getting the hue just right and observing the color relationships. I've found that these kind of studies are less intimidating and you can still get a lot of mileage out of them.
