Your animations are fantastic! I have to ask how you go about them, are they just from sight or are they rotoscoping?
I found it funny that you said I did so many since you do sooooo many studies per day compared to me
The stuff I uploaded earlier was from yesterday. Here is today's stuff
These are some exercises from the free proko anatomy course. I need to tackle the lesson again tomorrow because I'm pretty sure I drew the simplified ribcage wrong. The photos uploaded out of order, so this is the last thing that I did today!
I did a bunch of quick figure studies, today I just focused on naced guys!
I also drew a couple hands. They were suuuppperre chunky. I didn't know it was possible to have hands that looked so cartoony, but I think they're great.
I also did some more landscape studies! The first one is gouache again. I want to get better at it!! I ended up going over some places with coloured pencil though, because I realised that I was working too small with too large brushes to get the sort of detail I wanted with my current gouache skill level It looks much better with the pencil.
The second one is fine liner and watercolour. I'm still pretty new with perspective in backgrounds, but I had a lot of fun working out where the vanishing point was and drawing lines from it to get an accurate perspective. Usually I get really confused, but this time it was manageable. I wish I'd left it as just lines because the painting didn't turn out that great. I'm out of practice with watercolours, but oh well!
Overall, I think today was pretty successful! The little landscapes ate up a lot of my time because I'm just not used to making them, so there's no sort of automatic 'muscle memory' in play. Ah well, as long as I keep practicing, I must improve at some point!
Btw, I apologise if the orange pencil is a bit hard to see. I don't like using graphite very much since I find that it's very prone to smudging in this type of sketchbook. I also just like colourful sketchbooks and I don't tend to do much coloured pencil art, but I have lots of pencils from when I was like 13, so I need to use them up somehow!
