Hi guys!

I was wondering, do people tend to have a preference for colour on the platform? I know that the traditional scroll seems to favour coloured panels, but I'm wondering if it's damaging in the long run to keep my comic as a manga-style 4koma strip.

What are your experiences with colour vs black and white?

Here's my comic for reference:

I would also appreciate any constructive criticism you may have about other aspects! I'm only just starting out (about 1-2 months) and would really love the feedback

Honestly, I love both if the story/art resonate with me. I’ve noticed with quite a few black and white works (mainly manga), can be a little overhwhelming and wordy sometimes. Like too many scenes/dialogue in one panel that makes the whole thing look intimidating and tiresome to read. I read manga for years and began switching to webtoons because I enjoyed the scrolling panels and how it felt like there was “more room to breath” if that even makes sense lol.
Color or black and white both do it for me as long as it’s readable, a style I enjoy, and/or has a nice plot. Your art is lovely and very easy on the eyes.
Also, the creators of Insomnia and If Tomorrow Were Yesterday switch between black and white/color to show flashbacks and present time. I enjoy their use of both and the art still remains consistent.

I can only say i like colored ones but that's because the black and white ones i have come across are really busy and can get overwhelming
