No... just as any other of your jokes, really. It's hard to describe, even with obvious jokes like "thanks mom" they feel like a joke told a wrong way. The punchline just isn't there, sorry, maybe this is just not my type of humour

Is this a corona-virus joke? If so, it need a punchline.

I have no idea what is going on but I laughed so I guess you succeeded in someways.

I think i do, it was a pun of "getting it right of the bat". But being literal of getting "it" right out of a literal bat.

I think you failed in the delivery because you failed to make part of the context make the reader think it would mean to get something inmediately (the actual definition). The pun could be seen way before the punchline was delivered.

About the final pannel about making the poop dinner.....guess the wording and delivery was a bit clunky.

Now, here are some tips on how to improve your jokes in general:

-Pannels define the timing of the scene. When pannels are too close to each other, it is easy to accidentally see the punchline before time (specially if it is a visual gag)

Here is an example of timing with pannels.

As you can see, this pannel composition allow to hide the punchline on the bottom, so the reader doesnt accidentally see the punchline before time.

Wish you the best and hope this helps

I got the 'right off the bat' bit, and thought it was amusing.
But the poop for dinner joke had me wondering if it was a reference to some other play on words that I wasn't getting. So that second part fell flat for me.
