Clip Studio Paint/Manga Studio on sale for $15

For any of you guys looking for a program to use, CLIP STUDIO PAINT aka Manga Studio EX 5 is currently on sale for $15!

Anyone with Manga Studio experience have reviews? Is PAINT EX worth the extra money for story mode/better page layout tools?

Manga Studio is the comic artist's photoshop. The price it's given is low compared to its actual worth.

so...very...tempting...Considering I already use SAI and Photoshop, though, I'm not sure if I want to add another program to my list. Haha. But still, I've heard good things about MS.

If you don't currently use this program spend the 15 dollars. That is a RIDICULOUS deal.

I totally recommend Clip Studio Paint, it's amazing. $15 is absolutely worth it!

Thanks for posting.. I've never tried Clip Studio. Downloading the trial version now.
I've been looking to add to my design tools. : ) I use a lot of Photoshop right now but it seems restrictive sometimes..

I have it and because of it have phased out sai and photoshop (I used to work with all 3 when working on MS4, now I can pretty much do everything I needed 3 programs for before in CSP/MS5) It works best for what I need it for, my only issue is that editing/warping the sound effects are not as easy for me to do in MS than they were in photoshop, but for the difference in price (especially this price) it's a small thing to deal with.

As for EX being worth the extra money or not, yeah, it's worth it if you intend to use those features (I know I do and they are very handy) They're not necessary for all artists (everyone works differently, so there are many that never make use of those extra features) As and artist you'll know better than anyone else if your style and methods require those extra features or not.

I used to think I could do just about everything I wanted in Photoshop elements so there was no reason to bother with manga studio/clip studio paint, but once I tried it, put in the effort to learn it and got past the 'this isn't what I'm used to' wariness, wow. Just wow. It is amazing and using photoshop elements is so clunky and cumbersome in comparison. Clip studio paint basically solves all my complaints with ps elements and has tons of features that keep surprising me when I discover them. $15 is a fantastic price for an fantastic program.

I have Sai and PS as well, and prefer MS5. For comics it simplifies soooo much (including a multipage thing) and draws as smooth as Sai. Kinda like the best of both.

Easy to use, lots of helpful tools to make comics/illustrations, a lot of free brushes to install....and so cheap that sounds ridiculous.
If i had no drawing programs and should choose one, it would be MS/CSP.

Maybe for those who also works in printed comics, because is more "page freindly".
