Ahhh i love copics! They're by far my favorite traditional medium~
@ topic, I defffff prefer coloring. While I like the final product of line art, the process is maybe my least favorite of the bunch. Especially working on line art traditionally, I only get 1 shot at each line before I have to do touch up in photoshop lol.
I like the final result of coloring much more, and enjoy the process more as well (both digitally and traditionally, with marker). It's kind of therapeutic and something about colorful art has always appealed to me more than just black and white. (And i often feel like the color covers up pretty well instances of poor lineart
) it takes longer, certainly, but it's more fun.
(Note: this is mostly in regards to comics though. I still like color better in illustrations, but when I'm working on a standalone piece I don't mind the line art as much. With comics the pressure i put on myself to be fast and efficient leads to more mistakes, and more mistakes leads to more dislike xD )
