@tired_programmer (loathed as I am to recommend this hot mess again) the Valvrave anime hits about 90% of your list, as far as I can see, especially a cold blooded white haired guy as an MC.
I love when characters actually like each other. So many creators these days seem to think friendship or romance is constant bickering and one or two moments of support, and I do love couples or friends who bicker a lot, but there's got to be a connection. There's got to be love. And you can so tell when characters are just fighting and the creator is going "no they do like each other honest" and when it's actually a friendship that expresses itself like that.
Female characters actually being friends too. GL is nice, but I want girls who are friends and get along without the idea that there's romance at the end. Too often women are reduced to the "I'm not like other girls" or the "here to steal your man" characters, especially in male heavy series. Women are either there to support the men with no character, or be a threat with no other character, and if there's 2 or more in a series they all hate each other. Why? I love when there are women in a story who are good friends and get along and don't hate each other fr petty reasons.
Quirky, interesting, charming side characters who are actually characters and have an effect on the plot. Minor villains especially. Especially especially when they're actually morally grey and not sure what side they're really on and have their own subplots. I'm terrible for being more interested in the quirky miniboss squad than the actual MCs or villains.
