Comics set in the "real" world

Hello there, can you show/recommend me comics set in the realistic setting. Well, i mean comics set in the our world in 20th and 21th Century, from 1910s to the some not so distant future (for me border where future is not so distant is where some kind of laser/plasma things used instead of firearms and so on), also without fantasy/magics. Of course alternative history is fine too.
Mainly I'm interseted in action or detective genre, but everything else is welcome too, of course I just want to read something like similar comics like mine (but it's not about promotion, it's about reading other different comics, so if you interested, you can see link in my profile )
And sorry for my english, it's not my native language

Hmm that's a tough one as I typically read fantasy works xD;;

Out of my library...

this one is set in the modern world and is like a detective story, but has cat people /shrug

Leftovers is very good, but not action or detective, it's more like a... comedy or drama I guess?

That's about all I got as far as what I'm subscribed to lol...

The project that I'm currently writing (to start after my current one-shot concludes) will fit your criteria (action series set in the modern age, no magic/super powers/etc) but nothing for that will start to roll out until mid-to-late 2019 probably

My comic takes place in the real world, though idk if it's quite as "real" as you're looking for lol. There's no magic or anything though.

Comics set in a world that reflect our contemporary times, right? Nothing too unrealistic in regards to day-to-day life (I think a lot of slice-of-life comics might fit this category well). Okay, I may suggest:

^this has a supernatural flair but otherwise strong 20th/21st century setting.

Apart from the schizophrenic visions of the protagonist my comic is perfectly realistic and is set in the real world (well, the town is fictional, as I wanted "full control" of it, but that's about it).

Not sure exactly what you're asking. You say you want something set in the real world but don't mind alternate history or near future stuff?

I'm not sure if this is what you want, but my comic is set in an alternate WW2. Very alternate.

@OttoGruenwald Thanks for showing your comic. Also about alternative history and future. Under alternative history i mean something that is in alternative history setting, but still realistic, without superweapons and such things (like Kaiserreich mod for HoI4 for example). And for future is same mostly (still things that are in use today, just futuristic ones, without too much sci-fi stuff)

I personally find story without fantasy element not really my taste so I lack recommendation.

Mine is set in a close future (2054) in a realistic, less futuristic setting with a mystery/crime plot

1.Comics in the style of 30s:

2.Life of a killer in rhymes with simple but stylish art:

3.Dark wait-to-read/pay-to-read comics which takes place in the end of XX or beginning of XX| century about crazy CEO girl:

Other comics in setting of XX-XX| centuries, in diverse genres:

Historical comics (events take place during XX century):

Almost real world in style of 80s, but with ghosts:

Autobiography, so the action takes place in contemporary world or in not far past:

Comedy about working in contemporary children camp:

Romance in the real world setting (without magic, sci-fi, etc):
Girl + girl

Girl + boy (+ girl?)

Boy + boy or they are just friends? Not quite sure

I hope that you'll like at least something from this list.
