Well, the image I made for my avatar in 2017 was originally going to be the cover for "Red Shift":

...But I ended up just using it as one of my main promo arts instead! (Avatar, banners, etc.) People who get to know my work see this image and immediately think "MeltingCORE" (because I've never changed it from being my main promo image). So, the painting below became the cover for volume one instead!

Well...I like the cover a lil' better now..so yay. (1st one is the 1st attempt, 2nd, I changed the background and the 3rd I just redid it after some thought and I'm glad I did)

I didn't expect to use this drawing as a cover, but it has the MC and important characters to his development, that it just worked well to add the title and make it the cover.

This was the first one, which I drew with my laptop's trackpad. I was happy with it at first, but now I can see that the art is uh, not so good...

The new cover has a more sleek/simple design.

But we wanted to add flair narrative wise.

But then I decided that it was best to make it like this to sell the shift between artstyles while also showing Naota's goals. I was also told showing the face does well.

While I kept the "Checkerboard motif", The Cover changed drastically, as in origins Book 1 was supposed to be a Standalone Prologue for when I planned the series to be a Novel, then, as Plan Changes, I kept the Title and and Make the official Cover for the whole series.

Old Cover: This cover is really weird and contains a plot element that was removed. The character in the middle is Sugar but with his natural hair color. And it's suppose to be a reference to The World.
