This is a great idea!
What are your favorite genres to read?
Sci-fi, fantasy, and some romance. (Though I typically prefer romance encompassed within a broader story, rather than being the sole focus.)
Who/What are some of your inspirations (art/storytelling)?
The biggest and newest one at the moment, comic-wise, is Sigeel. Her work is lovely, she seems lovely, and I'm really looking forward to re-reading her comics with an eye for analysing the art, design, and pacing to learn as much as I can.
Other than that, my inspirations are very broad. Avatar The Last Airbender, She-ra, and The Dragon Prince are big inspirations, stylistically. Full Metal Alchemist is a big one, tonally. Neil Gaiman's 'Sandman' was a large early inspiration for what the medium of comics could achieve. And Phillip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' trilogy was enormous in informing the philosophical underpinnings of my worldbuilding and magic system.
What is your goal as a creator (here)?
I want to build an audience interested in my stories, characters and universe. Ideally, I'd love to reach a point where I have enough supporters and patrons that I can focus all my time and attention on my own work. Realistically, that's extremely hard to achieve, so I recognise I'll need to supplement my own projects with paid work for the foreseeable future. At the moment, I do that by teaching two days a week. But eventually, I'd like to freelance as a comic illustrator for publishing houses such as Scholastic. Making my own comic will refine my skills in that regard, and give me solid portfolio pieces to attract such work.

Punderworld, Blood Stain, Forgotten Sons, Out Of The Blue, HWAJA
Creation Question:
How many active comics/stories do you have?
Just the one. If I can build up a big enough buffer, I have another, much smaller story I'd like to make, but it's not a priority.
What are your favorite genres to write/draw?
Fantasy and Sci-fi. The creative things you can do with the art and character design, not to mention world-building and stories, in those genres are so much fun. I also like romance, because I love drawing fluffy, kissy stuff, though I tend to write romance as a sub-genre.
What part of the creative process do you enjoy the most?
Colouring!
Which part do find the most challenging?
Artistically; sketching, and panel layout. Unsurprising, given I've never made a comic before.
Writing: Plot. I'm great at character interactions, and writing standalone scenes, but I struggle with overarching plot. I'm not bad at it, but it's definitely the hardest part.
Describe and Share your comic/story!
Blue Star Rebellion is a science fantasy story, which follows a drifter who finds himself caught up in the struggle between an oppressive, anti-mage coalition of governments, and a rebellion fighting against those forces. It's full of magic, adventure, and poignant moments. (It's also surprised me by being unexpectedly humorous so far.)
