I was on discord and saw that I’ve received a friend request so I happily accepted thinking oh okay cool a potential fellow creator friend.

Everything was alright until they kept bugging about turning my novel to a comic even though I kept saying that I would like to complete my novel first and the thought of turning The Lost Forest into a comic hasn’t crossed my mind. They kept on insisting that it would be good for promoting blah blah blah.

It was nothing too serious but it was majorly annoying how this person couldn’t understand the fact that I want to work on a my work as a novel .

TLDR: Dont pressure people into doing things that they don’t want to do.

I’m not surprised like you’ll have a better chance of getting me as a customer if you’re not pressuring me.

This kind of messages scammers send me daily on IG and Deviantart 3 times a day. Tiring, annoying.

I get the friend requesting asking if I need an artist .

That’s understandable and there could have been a day where I wanted to do a commission by them but pressuring someone to turn their novel into a comic isn’t the way to go.

I don't know if there being rude or not. But that's not good. I've only had that problem after I've said I'm from tapas.
