Do you like your drawing style?

I do I find mine really cozy and people often tell me it reminds them of media I like.

I can only answer this by saying that I spent a long time trying to make something uniquely mine.

It's still got some gaps in the skills shown but I like to think it stands out.

I like my drawing style- though there are others who draw better than me...I just hate that my mechanics are not the best, digitally. My ink style, though at times is therapeutic to me, takes A LOT of micro strokes to make what would look like one solid line...over a period of time- and over the course of number of pieces, it starts to bother me how much time I'm losing. I'd LOVE to be able to produce single, solid, confident strokes but at this point habits have already settled in.

For the most part, I'm satisfied with my style. I developed it naturally and sort of just settled into it, and couldn't really compare it to anyone else's, even though I've tried.

I think like most artists, I want my style to be some nebulous and undefined 'better'... but I could never express better HOW. Obviously I want to be technically better, but... I can't really say 'I want my art to look like that artist's style', because there are a lot of artists out there whose style I love, but I've never felt the desire to make my art look like theirs.

You know, classic 'never satisfied' artist stuff.

Something I like about my style is that same face syndrome practically doesn’t exist for me. That might be because I just naturally design my characters like that, but I’m a big fan of giving characters different noses, hairstyles, and face shapes. I don’t know if that’s really part of my style or not, but those are the things that make same face syndrome run away screaming

I tried very hard to have a Disney animation look to my art. I find I can have expressions and exaggerations easy with this type. I do like the anime look, but I can't quit get the over the top cartoony expressions of japan into my art. I like being "on model" (to much animation in my life) so its hard for me to just draw the quick/simple pictures of people that manga does to show emotions. (the no detail face with dots for eyes to show "what the hell".) I wish I could spend more time on the detailed backgrounds of manga, but I only have so much time per episode.

Yeah I like my art style. It’s very uniquely me! Inspired by anime and simply drawn cartoons it’s very unique.

I tend to go back and forth between liking and disliking my style.

Though I would say that overall, especially these days, I am very pleased with it.
Took me a while to reach a point where I finally felt able to actually draw the things I saw in my head.

There are still times I prefer the style of different artists (nothing specific, varies on who I scroll past at a given day haha.) but I use those periods as teachable moments. Where I try to analyze what makes their style tick and see if I can use it in my own work.

As for the "find my style" thing. Like @2DLenzy said, you already have a style. The people who wonder about finding their style lack a certain confidence in their abilities and compare themselves too much to others. What makes a style is nothing more than a series of shorthands and simplifications of the real world. The best way to learn your style is to study reality and analyze how the artist you look up to simplify said reality.

Working on Crow's Worth for several years, I sort of got to a point where I disliked drawing in that style. The style of the series was sort of angular, however it made if difficult to portray more complex facial emotions. The style of the series was based on how I drew when I was about 14-15, around the time I came up with the original concept for the story. But I remember even as a teen, I sort of out grew the style.

Despite Frostpeak West and Crow's Worth having somewhat similar styles, there are some differences. And those differences make the comic so much easier to draw and I think it looks better.

Yes I'm comfortable drawing anthros & had developed a certain artstyle. But actually I would like my style to be bit more cartoonish when I need to, because sometimes I have trouble keeping simplified faces/bodies when drawing on bigger panels, I tend to shift into more realistic style which sometimes doesn't fit the tone.

If you're having trouble keeping a simpler style on bigger panels I suggest you make a thumbnail first which you then scale to the appropriate size and 2nd, I would consider using a bigger brush. That helps you to not get lost in tiny details.

i like my style. I think it represents me as a playful, whimsical person. I'd like to be able to draw other ways too, but not instead of the way I draw now. I also feel like my current style very much so represents the things I loved when I was little (like Strawberry Shortcake) and still love now (like Dan Povenmire shows) so again, it shows who I am.

I think I have come to terms with liking my art style! I wish to improve, but I don't hope to change it.

I like my style now that it's more consistent. It can be as detailed or simple as I want it to be and gives me plenty of options for illustrating my stories. I'd definitely like to improve to better show what I visualize when I write, but I'm happy with where my style is now.

Well, I changed it multiple times, i changed it again yesterday. But this one, I actually enjoyed doing it than the previous ones. Well, I think that it might change again in the future but it will probably just improve.

I like it a lot, I have several styles, I have improved a lot compared to how I drew 5 or even two years ago. Drawing a comic for almost a year has helped me a lot. I have to improve in anatomy, backgrounds and things like that to achieve more professional art but, I hope to be able to focus on that once I finish my current project. I would like to work on a series much shorter, with a semi-realistic style.
