Do you listen to the songs on comics?

1. interesting to see what the author listens to
2. adding to the character of the comic

I usually do! Sometimes the songs don't fit to the comic because the creator just chose their favourite song, fitting or not, but most of the time it enhances my reading experience hehe :>
Especially when the music was created for the comic.

Sometimes I do, usually only when the episode thing is long enough. I have a very slow connection, so if the episode thing is only one page, I'm done waaaay before the song even starts XD

The only time I ever did was when reading Juju's Diary because the episodes are long enough and the music in that comic really enhances the experience. I love it.

I don't. Unless the creator of the comic also composed the song. Then i know it's been considered as part of the story, not an add-on.

In my comic, each chapter's title is based on a song from the '30s or '20s, I thought of possibly putting in the songs related to them, but didn't think anyone would listen. Now I'm kind of considering it again....

I only put music on the title pages now. The idea is to "set the mood" of the chapter. It's my happy compromise since I release page by page and like many have said, they might finish reading the page before the song has really begun. But generally, I listen to the songs. I usually wait until after I've read the page, though, and then go back and listen to it. that's just my preference ^.^ I really like music, but if it has words, it's hard for me to read and listen at the same time.

Even if I could, I wouldn't though. I get really easily overwhelmed by noise and have to be in the right state of mind to listen. Plus I'm super particular about music.

I usually find myself listening to music on Spotify whenever I'm going through my daily routines on my laptop, so I find it a nuisance to pause my music just to listen to a small section of a song. Music doesn't really have an effect on my experience with a comic. Actually, if it is a really intense moment, I turn off my music so I can revel in the feels more easily (is that weird?).

I like the idea of music on comics though. Options are always nice.

If its music, yes, if its a song, no. I find songs distracting and im very picky about what songs im listening to while im trying to loose myself in a story :B

I do love the music some people pick but to me it has to be like the the music in the background of a video game or movie. Its sounds nice and its noticeable when your thinking about it, but it shouldn't distract you from the comic itself.

I wish I could, but my family complains of the noise and earbuds make me feel a bit cramped in the creative department, so I don't use them when doing anything productive.
