Does your comic/novel have a TV Tropes page?

TV Tropes is a wiki-type site about tropes in various media, comics and novels included. Anyone can create a page there. The traffic from TV Tropes is not huge but, according to the stats counter on my main site, I get new readers from there almost every day.

Another cool thing about TV Tropes is that not just you but also your fans can add new info to your pages.

Just so you can edit it later, the Cold Obsidian link is the same as the Gifts of Wandering Ice one.

Haven't heard of it, but perhaps I'll consider making one. Kinda reminds me of my days in Halo Fanon wiki.

I'd love to, but my comic needs to - well it first needs to be out. And when it IS out, I'd like to wait until it's further along the story (maybe when I'm like, a third into the 1st season) before I'd make a TVTropes page.

No because nobody cares about it, and I do not have sufficient knowledge to do it myself (although I feel making TV-tropes page yourself feels a bit tacky when you are a nobody).

I would love one, but I would need the time and the knowledge of tropes to get it done. I'd rather it be that some fan decides to make it for me if they feel like my comics deserve them

For all who think that making a TV Trope page is hard: it's not. It took me several minutes to launch my first one and I had never made wiki pages before. You can do it
Just start a page, add the basic info, and let your fans do the rest.

I had one for my old webcomic that my current one reboots, and it's tempting to make one for Errant, but if I did it, it'd be for fun. TVTropes used to be a big deal, but now, not so much. I have very fond memories of my time as a "troper" (my claim to fame as being author of the page for the classic fairytale "The Three Billygoats Gruff" many years ago) but it's not so renowned a site as it once was.

I've made private collections of tropes for some of my comics, but I've always been hesitant to make an actual TVTropes page, because it felt like one of those things that would be better for fans to do than the creator. But idk, maybe I should?

Yup, some fans helped set up one for me recently! I should probably add some more stuff to it but it's a bit overwhelming to figure out lol.

Oh man, I hadn't even considered this. I don't know why, but the thought feels... I don't know, almost like it would require a terrifying amount of hubris, although that doesn't fully make sense (it's just a webpage!)

I'd never thought of authors having anything to do with TVTropes before; I'd always thought it was hardcore fans that put things up there. Might have to reconsider my perception of it, I guess.

My comic isn't famous enough to have one yet, plus I think I'd rather have a wiki (or "fandom" as they call it now) for it, although I might think about making one later on, just not right now.
