When talking about dreams, there is this thing about trying to interpret their meaning, also there are this so called dreams that are our goals at the end of valley of life, but there are aslo THIS MOTHERFUCKINGAWESOMEDREAMS that could make so freaking wonderful stories and get carved in our heads like stone!

so go ahead share your story worthy dreams here! who knows, maybe an artist could see them and be interested to make a series about that.

JUST ONE RULE:

-I want your dreams to be read by the comunity but I know we can get carried on of the wonders of those dreams, so let's keep it simple, 500 words per post, If you had more than one you gotta fit all of them in those 500 words.

My dream:

Today Had a freaking awesome dream, were the main character had a magic sword, the world was ruled by a Demon Interdimensional lord Who had this mirrors everywhere that took you to other dimension and harm you. The main character had several friends, mainly girls, I remember three, this gals had amulets who later lended to the main character this morphin his magic sword.

Later on made an alliance with a group of badass dudes, were a blonde one lended a fire amulet, then had to fight with Mutant little monkeys that talked who had Giant Gatling Guns (Guns the size of a car) . at the end met with one of the gals from the begining and the group was ready to storm a party for a reason I can't remember, and the main character found a memento he laid somewhere in the begining next to a memento of one of the gals.

Have fun!

One of my main characters was based off a dream and the main reason why he ended up being native American.

And it wasn't just one dream, either. I was plagued by dreams of the same guy for 6 solid years. I finally started modeling character after him in the hopes that the dreams would stop. They didn't.

Not until, like, two years ago. I saw this guy so often in my dreams I named him Jacob. Ohanzee Otaktay for the character.

I haven't thought about that in a while...

And I guess my bigger bad in my main series is also based off a dream... Or, rather a nightmare. ...

I don't remember my dreams very often, just bits and pieces. Why, last night, the only thing I could recall from my dreams was a really out there looking sword design (I've already sketched it twice today so as not to forget). And that got me to thinking about a story idea involving magically gifted warriors chosen at seemingly random. The only ones who actually go forward in their training are the ones that just so happen to remember their "Dream Weapon" vividly enough, if at all, upon waking. Their remembrance allows the weapon to physically manifest in our world, and so on. So, idk, if someone can make a decent story out of that premise, then by all means (unless it's been done already haha)!

Most of my dreams are too... stupid to make great stories, but I'll share a couple examples anyway because sometimes inspiration comes form unexpected sources.

1) It begins with a barrel fire that sets a field ablaze outside a public school. Detectives arrive but quickly forget about the fire in favor of a ~spooky~ abandoned house where a ~spooky~ ghost greets them on the stairs and invites them to investigate the manor. Detectives (now there are two of them, a man and woman), enter and look around. In the kitchen, they spot the source of the negative energy emanating throughout the home--a very evil, very kitschy ceramic chicken. Too spooked to continue, they flee in terror. Oh, but before that, one of the detectives has a romantic encounter with a ghost. End.

2) Life as we know it has ended. We find our band of heroes lost in a post-apocalyptic hellscape which consists exclusively of a horrifyingly massive set of monkey bars beyond the scope of any you have ever imagined (if you've ever spent any time daydreaming about large playground equipment). Monkey bars so high up in the sky that you cannot see the ground below, only clouds. While it is possible to fall to lower levels, it is far more likely that falling means certain death. But our heroes must cross these bars to continue their journey, for some reason. End?

Honestly that would make a better video game concept than comic/novel, imo.

I've had a couple of weird dreams that could be turned into stories. One I actually wrote about a superhero that accidentally destroys a building and is antagonized by her whole school because of it.

Another one that I think we could be an interesting one was about a racecar driver who gets killed on a notorious dangerous track. A statue of him is then made in his memory.

Years later, a rookie decides to race on the same track. He ended up crashing and destroying the beloved statue. This somehow summons the spirit of the old racer who replies.

"What I ever do to you?"

And then I guess he teaches the rookie how to be a better racer.

Ah I vivid dream quite often and I remember my dreams like they were memories sometimes. That's not a good thing because some become nightmares.

Like there was one set in a port city. I was an omniscient god looking over the people of the town. Everyone was fake kind to each other until the end of the month when the city begins to flood. Then it becomes a mad race toward these coffin-like towers at the edge of town. Neighbors would betray each other to reach the top of the towers and avoid drowning. But when the water recedes, the survivors are forced to climb down the towers and face the bodies of those they stepped on to survive.

I had one where i was on a giant oil rig in the ocean. And me, the army and scientists were studying cloning. But after succeeding in our first clone, the mafia wanted our research and started attack the oil rig. As the battle between us and the mafia reached its peak aliens descended from the heavens possessing both the army and the mafia. To stop the oil rig from blowing up i activated the cloning machine to make my own army and fight the aliens. As we almost attained victory, the cowards activated their self destruction sequence killing everyone including me. Thankfully the cloning machine saved a piece of my dna from earlier. And as i died from my wounds, i was born anew as a clone baby. And then i woke up and realized i shouldnt of eaten that entire pizza before going to bed.

My dreams are too random to be made Into stories.. there isn’t even time in my dreams everything just kind of happens all at once. One time I had a dream where my brother threatened to sell my computer if I didn’t do the dishes for the entire year.
