Enticing viewers with your cover?

Recently changed my cover to reflect my story and comic style more - and to show more clearly that the story is a fantasy romance (I know it will be on the genre tabs, but definitely I think covers that show the main couple/ most important characters are more enticing) I also thought a more colorful cover is more eye-catching.

The story is about a painter so I wanted the co er to be s paint splotchy and brush. One of my younger sisters noticed that it looked like a heart so I made sure to take the picture from an angle that would show it off since it IS a romance novel but it always makes people think it's a murder mystery. There is s lot of blood in the second chapter tho

The main villain/antihero had to take the cover - he has the vibe Plus when I got this fanart, I knew it has to grace the front of my book <3

I was very particular when I commissioned my cover I wanted to evoke my main inspiration, Street Fighter, with the colorful and diverse cast of fighters ready to throw down! The two rivals starring down, Kara vs Reina, with their Sifu/Mother Dim Mak below them, and the evil Ninja villain laughing maniacally, and of course, the buff girl with tattoos just flexing

I made this cover to give the melancolich/scifi setting that has my story. It also depicts the mindsed of this girl called Charlotte, a confusing but beautiful place.

My covers?

At the time of drawing this, Akala wasn't really a known character of mine. Just wanted to show her dark sinister nature even though she appears to be approachable with a sense of humor...

This cover was meant to show Claudita's sadness in this whole story. She will be crying a lot as the story progresses. AngHell dela Blackpill features a lot of dark depressing themes.

Akala is in a fastfood uniform as she eats steak... to show the contrast between her "humble" appearance and her demon goddess status. The idea was to put a "dark" spin on the whole idea of "he who humbleth himself shall be exalted" (Luke 14:11). As Jesus came to earth in a manger (idea of God coming to earth in a humble way). As demons are said to counterfeit the things of God and masquerade as an angel of light.

I like both covers @graceahiggs12, especially the new one.

For "Of Lowlifes, Lutes, & Liars", I was inspired by old "wanted" posters from fantasy and western stories, as each of the main trio are "wanted" for their various activities. I drew each character independently, so they'd be easy to move around for the cover and social media aspect ratios, which took waaay longer than I thought it would. The ringleader is Khazmine, pictured front and centered, with her little brothers (Aranthus and Pavocinis) behind her. We start the story when Khazmine and her brothers are children, eventually following their lives up until this "wanted" poster is made to advertise their status relating to lowlifes, lutes, and liars.

Over the course of the project I've had 2 covers. One is more particular to a certain part of the story where the other is meant to evoke the general spirit of the whole story.

My first cover was rushed because it was for a contest story, but I wanted to give some ominous vibes, feature the most important characters and keep it simple to make it more readable for potential readers.

The current cover was taking a lot of the elements of the OG, but making the characters even more of a focus. I also had more time so the linework and rendering came out better. Another thing I wanted to do was hint at the relationships between the characters.

A story taking inspiration from western superhero comics and eastern shonen manga. Hiro Hinmoku, a highschool student dreams of one day becoming a member of the police force, just like her mother, but fails to find the experience she desires at school.

When entrusted with evidence for a case regarding a sketchy laboratory, she finds herself not only imbued with new shape shifting superpowers, but an opportunity to take a different approach to her goal.

My current one for Volume 2 // However it finally finishes in December. So Volume 3 will be a new design. I make them in CSP. I break all mine up into episodes (as if it was for TV) and each has thier own covers. Episode 5 almost done in December. Each episode is 12 to 14 pages.
I have the Canadian rating on it for the uncensored version. But US strict ratings have it at 17 uncensored. Thus why its censored on Tapas to PG13 in US terms.

The story is about a girl who found out his ex is a cheater and decided to love and respect herself more.. also she will meet people and lose others. It's a journey to discover her place.. .for more i guess you have to read it and tell me what you think..
