I'm also redrawing what I shared! I'd like to make another topic soon about "remakes" so keep an eye out for that too share your diff. versions there too
@nauko This looks digital to me, but I like the second panel lol (never could get into ffxv)
@rifftiff lol, this is cute, good way to keep your brain active
@Shanny8 Before I even read what you wrote, I can already tell the marvel influence was strong, haha. I also took a look at your recent work (link in your profile) and you certainly did improve. For one, you seem to take extra care with your backgrounds now-- the characters certainly feel grounded in their environment-- and the characters themselves aren't as slanted as your older one.
You doing fine
@Bree_Mana That's a very interesting premise and seems like it could go several different avenues. The artwork on its own has improved (and the page layout has seen quite the upgrade) but that typesetting is still lackluster; it seems like an afterthought rather than part of the composition, like you're just trying to squeeze it in. This is a pretty good video on lettering https://youtu.be/LjwFFQlP5OM (watching videos on TYPE in general is a good idea, but since this comic related, ¯_(ツ)_/¯)
Here's to improving more and more
@ButterflyEmpress "The panels are all the same size, in a unique order, with such lovely handwriting."
Lovely
I made picture books a lot too! In elementary we even had a program where we can create and publish or own hardcover books. I think they were placed in the neighborhood public library for a limited time (the library was across the street from our school). It was one of my more memorable school programs, haha
