I know there are a lot of really good brushes that cost money, but I'd like to ask specifically for free Photoshop brushes that you have tried and liked. Please recommend me some good ones.

Well, I absolutely LOVE the Loish Brush set, available on gumroad for free:

I've been using them for years now, one especially for sketching as it gives a soft nice feeling to it <3

My favorite brush set, I use two of them nearly daily and there's a wide variety of other stuff in there, by Houston Sharp!

Also with a good variety, Jonas De Ro's set!

Kyle Webster55 has a few "pay what you can" brushes. I'm pretty sure you could just pay $0? I don't know for sure. When I bought these I think I still gave $2. I got the Mr. Natural Brush first, as it was highly recommended to me and I loved it. Then later (when I had $$!) I bought all of them -
LOVE the gouache kit. These all download as tool presets.

Kecky28 also has a pencil set I love, also a pay what you can. This one I bought when I had money though, so once again I chipped in some change  I'm quite certain you can download them for free though. This is the one I probably use the most now. This one downloads as a brush.

I got these from great artists and 2 of them are creators(who in my opinion are the best) on tapas! Praise their generosity.:tada::sparkles::heart::sob::raised_hands::star:

WLOP746(Ghostblade)- he is my all time favorite. i got really excited after i found this link and the sample artworks he made with his free goodies. surprisingly, he only used a small set of simple brushes! if you don't know him, you're missing out
Mac Smith183(Scurry)- this guy got killer skills and he sells his brushes on gumroad for................... $0!!!

I just found these 3 while searching for rainbows and glitters on DA so i don't really know them but they are undeniably awesome.

Grzegorz Rutkowski56
Darek Zabrocki59

I hope you'll make the best out of these!

Sycra53 Has a ton of resources for drawing, including free brushes. I used them before I found Kyle T. Websters52, but you gotta pay for those (Though I think they are very cheap compared to how many you get).

Thanks so much for the recommendations you guys! I have so many new brushes now lol.

I'm obsessed with Creative Market49. I mainly use them for fonts for book formatting, but they also have a ton of brushes. I get a weekly email digest from them of freebies that usually includes some brushes.

The Kyle Webster brushes are boss! I've been using them sporadically throughout my comics...

Still looking for a grungy-like texture brush/brushes that would great when I have background-less panels. Right now, I've been toggling back to Clip Studio coz the one brush that comes close to it is in that program- however, the brush looks right with some colors/schemes, but not all.
