Hello all! I'm Reirotic, creator of Unearthing Hope12. I'd like to invite perhaps 20 comic/novel creators to create a collab promo for this year's Halloween. This is exclusively for Tapas creators, as I already have one lined up for other platforms.

A big plus is if your content is Fantasy/Drama/BL/LGBTQ related, but just drop your series here if you're interested in this collaboration. I'll contact you personally to fill in the available slots, and will close the thread once we hit our maximum entries. All the chosen creators will be given a Discord link for this collab.

It's a late start, as the posting time for the final collaboration image will be end of this month, but you'll be required to provide the following images/details below if you're joining. So please be kind to yourself if you don't have the extra free time to do this. Good example here18.

  • Image of 1+ Main Character(s) (in Halloween costume) with a few bubble speeches, making exchange about Halloween, e.g. what they think about spooky stuffs; what they think about their wacky costumes; or their reaction to something spooky.
  • Image of Comic/Novel Title Logo
  • Name of Comic/Novel
  • 1-2 Genre(s) of Comic/Novel
  • Name of Artist/Writer
  • IG/Twitter of Artist/Writer

Please feel free to ask any question!
As for novel creator trying to fulfill the above requirement #1, we'll work something out so that it's still visually fun for the viewers. If you have ideas, we're happy to hear them out!

If I may ask, what is the novel alternative for this?

Yeah, is the end goal to create a large poster image with all the featured characters or some new series?

The easiest solution I can think of is headshot of the characters making the exchange. Of course the tricky part is still fitting into the Halloween theme.

Yep that's right! Viewers will be scrolling through each entry showcasing the main character(s) exchange, title logo and genre, then right at the end is the collated list of the social media handles and comic name again (if the title logo is illegible lol)

If it's drawing headshots then I'm no good in creating that since I'm only a writer.

If you can make it so similar to other entries, then that'll be fantastic. This guide is primarily targeted towards comic creator for the collab to be visually entertaining, so if you can commission someone to do it then that'll be great. I think one of the good examples that's already out there it this one1.

Haha yea since it'll be quite a challenge if writers can come up with a very short story for their characters about Halloween.

Ah, so that means a short story about halloween without the headshot will work too?

Edit: Oh, got it. A short story will be a challenge, that's why a dialogue exchange between headshots. Did I get it right?

That's right! Having supporting images in service of the whole exchange is a quick and easy way to introduce the creator's characters. If they're hooked, then it'll get them to search up the title. I've posted a good example2 of this above.

I would love to be there, sounds fun and I wanted to go something halloween :jack_o_lantern: related.

Here is my comic, si you can check out if it works for the concept you have in mind.

If someone has a novel but can't draw very well I can help you to make your image. I hope my style is fine.

i'd love to be apartment of this!! here's mine~

Hey! I'd love to join too if there's room!

I would be down for this, i think it's cool

My novel is superhero science fiction, but I can totally picture Sully and Linnie getting overly excited about the group Halloween costumes they brought while Max groans at how disgustingly cutesy the costumes are, haha. Max would be like "I was hoping for something a bit more bloody..."
