Have you ever re-read your comic?

I have! I read it when I got a little down because I thought maybe I'm not growing at the rate I want because my story isn't good, but honestly? I re-read it and I loved my story- found a lot of typos -cough- but I was happy to find that I genuinely enjoy my story and found myself excited to share what's all going to happen next.

I've gone back and changed things, but I love my story tbh. The art is a little scary in chapter one, but hey people stuck with me through that, so I can forgive myself for it.

ALL THE TIME. A lot of times to refresh my energies and/or get myself back into the mindset of working on my comic- especially if I've been away from it for a while.

I did it recently, I do this on occasion because I miss comments because tapastic will not notify me of all the comments that have been left on my pages.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Sure there were things that I could have done better or fixed, mostly in concerns to word balloons, but aside from that it was really enjoyable and I'm pretty happy with it, and I was pretty proud that I was able to draw all of this (even if some panels look 'off' because I was having trouble drawing a certain angle or expression)

yes all the time, sometimes I get worried I'm going to contradict myself despite having it all planned out already but other times, I do it to see how far I've come!

I have! There's nothing wrong with seeing how you grew over the years.

I have a large buffer so I re read it often and edit (dialogue, not art) as needed. I do also reread old already published chapters, just to make sure I stay consistent.

I'm pretty shameless and I reread my own comic more often than I probably should because I like looking at it and seeing how much I've accomplished so far. It also helps motivate me to keep working on pages when I get to the end and remind myself that I want to see more.

I do the same the same thing too. Just to be consistent and know what direction the comic is going. However, if I do try to read it all over from the beginning I often give up mid way...️

I reread it constantly,since English is hard. So there tends to be mistakes as well it also gets affected by any and all changes made to the story world.
It can change on a fly,for smallest of reasons like the text size is not big enough or the colour of the uniforms don't look unique enough.

what I have posted of mine isn't a whole lot, but I do reread it fairly often, and I cringe and hope everyone sees it more kindly than I do lol

I do this all the time actually ahahah the flow of the story it a bit off at first now but it progressed better in the later episodes ^^;

Continuously, to ensure w're keeping on track, and also check for myself the growth of the story/characters.

Yes and I was surprised(?) that I wasn’t trying to look for errors and was actually finally reading it to read it. It was nice. I sometimes reread to find any continuity errors or for fun now. Though I only do this after major events in the comic happened and not every other day.

I re-read mine regularly to be sure I haven't forgotten anything that I've introduced or set up. It's also great for ideas.

I re-read once a year atleast. I cringe, I cry (like because of sad parts, because I'm a dweeb) and I laugh. Mostly cringe. But you know. There's some gems in there every now and then

Yeah I do that until it becomes so numb to me I try to hold off fixing anything because at that point it goes from fixing mistakes to extreme nitpicking XD

Yes, I re-read parts of mine, especially when someone lets me know that there's a error ^_^;...then I want to go back and re-check everything. I have to focus on sections at a time because it's almost 800 pages long and takes hours to re-read the whole thing. I do like my story and characters, so I enjoy re-reading it and getting immersed in the story again if I'm having a bad day.

I feel bad when I miss comments, especially if it's a question and I don't get a notification so I try and go back once in a while to at least the pages that usually generate the most questions.

Sometimes I cringe at the older pages and have a strong desire to 'fix' them, but I don't have time and even if I 'fixed' them, they would look to out of place next to the previous and following pages.

I reread my own comics fairly often, though not usually all in one sitting—usually I'll skim through it, and/or pick out a particular scene to reread. It's often because I'm fact-checking what I've written before to make sure it matches what I'm writing now, but also sometimes I just want to look back on a scene I was particularly proud of!

I try not to, mostly because I end up sitting there picking apart my terrible, sketchy art. It's nice to see how I've improved over the past nine months but at the same time I feel embarrassed that I used to try to get people I know to read it.
